We half an hour behind so it's not that late! =] Aren't YOU going to go to sleep soon? It would help time pass though. I'm still hoping too much that it will be delivered tomorrow morning. Everything I've bought from Apple always came just after 9. And that is only a few hours away. At the same time I don't want to get my hopes up for nothing. It's amazing the craze a few little bits of metal stuck together can make. Also, are we ahead of all the counties which it's being released for today? What's the likelihood of them not wanting Australia to receive their pre-orders ahead of America?

Hey. So if I click on the link provided by Apple, it directs me to TNT United Kingdom. I get the following three shipping lines:
13 Oct 2011 21:14:00 Shenzhen Shipment In Transit.
13 Oct 2011 20:49:13 Shenzhen Shipment In Transit.
13 Oct 2011 17:23:56 Shenzhen Shipment Collected From Sender.
That's fine. But if I then go onto the Chinese(English) TNT website, it gives me a clearer understanding (although each line is repeated which I ignore) of where the package is, which I believe, seems to have already left China for Australia (hopefully).

Congrats to you and everyone else who will be receiving theirs on the 14th. It's already 4:35am on Friday the 14th here in Australia, and my order still hasn't been shipped. Is there any hope left?

Still no go here in Canada (Vancouver) with a White 64GB. Still preparing for shipment since last night. No visibility via the UPS trick because there's another phone on the order that already shipped.

Seeing as the USB micro adapter I bought after iPhone on 7th for delivery to the Midlands UK is just shy of Birmingham.... and they didn't say anything for ages - i'm guessing there are lots of iPhones getting to or being stored at UK depots tonight.
So Dispatched, ships by October14th meant nothing for the USB adapter from Shenzen. Apple has done wise choice of a blackout on most movements on iPhones it seems, till the just before shipping stage.
Fingers crossed. Or a trip to the TNT depot tomorrow!

TNT won't let you pick it up until its had one delivery attempt! spoke to them today

For Canadians who preordered and have been tracking their phone ...
Just talked to UPS, gave them my tracking info and delivery info and was told it will be delivered to me Friday October 14th.
On the UPS website it still says ...
"Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong 10/13/2011 21:14 Departure Scan"
but again, I got ahold of UPS, they were kind enough to look up my tracking number and delivery location (Edmonton, AB) and UPS told me it will be delivered to me on the 14th.
Just talked to UPS, gave them my tracking info and delivery info and was told it will be delivered to me Friday October 14th.

I doubt it - just checked with UPS in Toronto; they are getting a "consolidated" shipment so with customs delay expected time frame is Monday to Wednesday next week.

Um...if it's being sent as World EASE, it's pre-cleared with customs. No delays whatsoever.

I'm just repeating what I've been told by UPS on Twitter, email and a phone call. I have no reason not to believe UPS, especially via 3 different inquiries. I guess we'll find out for sure tomorrow.

My phone is on the same flight as yours. Before the HK departure scan, there was a moment when UPS tracking showed the delivery day to be Oct 14th by 12pm. So we will be getting it tomorrow Friday

It was pretty annoying walking through the Mall on the way to work just now with all the telco shops open selling them and my preorder isn't even in the country. Apple messed up.
