International iPhone 4S Order Status Thread

i guess all we can do guys is wait it out. this is my first time ordering my iphone of the apple website and its really confusing with all the comments people are coming out with lol. i ordered mine early enough to be on the october 14th ship list. but i dont know if thats when i will get it as mine still says processing ships by october 14th, confusing stuff. would be alot easier if it just said shipped with tracking number and thats it! :D hang in their guis im in the uk and im pulling my hair out

I got my order in as soon as the store came up here in the UK. I finished it within less than 2 minutes and got my confirmation email about half an hour later.

White 32GB here. Just says "Processing Items" and "Ships by: 14th October" I better get it on Friday...If I was OK with waiting another week then I wouldn't have got up so early.

the reason people in the US are seeing their phone shipped early is because they are coming from china, and also the size of the country.

for the UK they just need to ship them on the 13th and they will be out for delivery on the 14th because they will probably be coming from a UK distribution centre.
 
I still didn't get the confirmation e-mail, I've ordered on Friday around 10/11 pm GMT and it says that it'll be delivered from 21-28 October - Anyone not gotten their confirmation e-mail yet? :S

i recieved my email within minutes of ordering...have you checked your junk mail.

The long wait & fervent update checking begins

In London UK here, ordered my White 64gb 4S the moment the website came online, so order completed inside 2 minutes. Confirmation email confirms shipment by 14th October.

Status on UK website: Processing Items Dispatched: Ships by October 14th
Status on USA website: Processing Items Ships: Ships by October 14th

No funds taken from credit card yet, cannot tell about pre-authorisation.

Of course hoping for delivery on 14th… maybe even 13th, I seem to remember these things sometimes slip through the net a day early…!?

Did anyone here pre-order the iPhone 4. Any recollection of whether that arrived on the launch day, or earlier or later?

Mine had ben saying that from the moment I ordered, so I think it's a glitch on their system.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a cool case for a White iPhone? I don't really want the back covered so something like a Bumper is cool just to protect the corner from getting knocked. Maybe a clear one to show off the aluminium strip, or a red one (deep red like the Apple Product stuff) so it matches my iPad.

Anyone got any good quality suggestions?

I bought myself one of these..SGP Neo Hybrid Matte Series Case for the iPhone 4 . That's just an example, they do all sorts of different ones. Including transparent ones.
 
I'm from Australia, ordered within minutes of the site being up (I sat there and refreshed for hours...)

Status of my orders all have:

Processing Items

iPhone 4S 64GB White
Ships: Ships by October 14th

(Ordered 64GB Black and White through 1-click, accidentally ordered 6 on one account but the extras still haven't been canceled yet :eek: I don't know which one will ship first so I'll cancel the extras when a couple of them are shipped)

I have asked 2 Telcos to hold for me, so I should get my phones on launch day if Apple don't ship in time :/
 
You will get it on Friday. I got mine via an upgrade with 3 and they told me I would get it on Friday so im sure if you ordered direct you will get it. I'm in UK by the way.

Anyone else got "Merge in transit: gb" for their shipping method? Damned AppleCare, will this prevent me from getting it on the 14th you think?

I signed up just to reply to this.

Yes! It will most certainly delay your iPhone delivery, I did the exact same thing with a Bumper. Phone Apple ASAP and ask them to remove the AppleCare from your order (you can't cancel it individually online, only the whole order which you obviously wouldn't want to do). Then just order AppleCare separately. Otherwise your iPhone will go to a seperate distrubution centre to be merged with your Applecare delivery and shipped the day after that. It can delay your order up to 3 days. When I phoned, the guy knew exactly why I was doing it. He cancelled the bumper and immediately my shipping changed to 'Fast Ship EMEA' and I placed a separate order for the bumper.

Edit: Cancelled online as we're all still processing; changed to Fast Ship (EMEA). Thank you so much Lemmiwinkles my friend! ;) Glad I got that sorted before the our UK batch gets shipping details + £40.00 back for the meantime. *looks* as I've been saved by the bell

Merge in transit means exactly that. Your order items will arrive on the same day but your phone may come from one area (china) and your applecare docs might come from somewhere else (uk) they will merge together to be one package at some point in transit to you.

This can have an impact delivery times since one package has to wait for another.
