Pretty small thing I guess, but the animation when opening the app switcher is not cut off anymore. Previously it wouldn't animate correctly, but it has been fixed in beta 5. Overall it feels very, very smooth. Hope Apple can keep up this trend, but I keep saying that with every major iOS release. With iOS 11 we're gonna start all over again, and iOS 11.3 will be perfect. :p

Need some help.... Stuck on the apple logo for the last half hour. Hard reset does nothing apart from returning me to apple logo. Continuous holding of the, power button to switch off the phone does nothing.

Any tips?

Weird. Happens on my iPhone 6, iPhone 7 Plus and iPad all on the latest beta
I would gather that it has something to do with iCloud and iCloud Photo Library syncing previews if you are seeing it on all of your devices. Have you played with those setting to see if anything elicits a fix?

What device are you using? And in what areas is it smoother besides the app switcher?

Pics from the Camera Roll do not show the actual image as a preview in iMessages but they send correctly

[doublepost=1489013785][/doublepost]This is what iOS 10 was supposed to be. My iPhone 6S is super smooth and my iPad Air feels like new again!

Well done Apple.

OT, but the Twitter app got a nice update allowing you to clear the storage cache in-app. That would be a very nice feature for Apple to add to iOS 11. I hate having to delete an app in order to clear all the cruft the builds up from continuous use.

Would be nice if more apps would at least add that option for themselves, like Twitter did, in particular apps that tend to store a good amount of data (which are often similar ones to Twitter, like Facebook, Pinterest, etc.)
DropBox got a clear cache function just now too. Looks like a trend!

Wish List bug still there. Select a Wish List app from the Categories tab and then hit the company name below the title. Still does nothing. Same issue from Updates tab, but fine in Top Charts. I've reported this to Apple, but they never respond.

They did however respond to me on several other reported bugs.

wow first post is always about carrier versions now instead of changelogs & observed (more than with ONE user) problems/fixes...
Seems like it's all there in the first post. Just not much as far as people noticing anything new/different it seems in this beta (at least so far).

Is anyone else still having the problem of occasionally not getting Reminders app notifications? Still having this issue with this new beta, wondering if it's just my phone or a common issue with 10.3?

I freaking hate carrier version discussions they are literally the most non essential posts ever. 0 value

Earlier post was at 8:19 PM....

Now at 9:27 PM and battery at 61%

Maybe I was too soon happy ?

So if I want to install beta 5 now over my iOS 10.2.1. Will it directly download and install beta 5 or will go from 1 to 5 and I have to download all of them in the order? If that's the case it's too much work and installation. Please comment.

At least carrier versions are something that can actually be determined because there's a knowable version number, unlike with the battery discussion. One person says "this beta is terrible", the next response is "mine's way better". There's never any consensus about whether it's better or worse, because there's always someone who has unusually high battery drain in standby, or during use, or a rapid drop, etc, and there are far too many variables like cell signal strength for anyone to give useful information. (similar to frame drops - one person says it's super smooth, another says it's "unusable", etc)

No, when you install the beta profile it will update to 5.

Same here.
Also facing this for mail notifications.

My Air 2 is faster on this build. iPad Pro is still as fast as the day I got it. iPhone 6 still runs like crap. Haven't tried out on my iPhone 7 Plus yet
