I updated to see if I could finally see notifications while I was on an active call...... was unable to test due to what seems to be a new bug:

Pressing the Lock/Power button ends an active call -- no matter if you are on the call screen, or at the home screen.

Just reproduced this. Yep! Wow, kinda rare to see such a substantial new bug this far into the beta cycle.

EDIT: Interesting. Lock/Power button doesn't end the call if you have it on speaker or headset. Only when using the earpiece.

EDIT AGAIN: Maybe this isn't a bug. When you're on a phone call with the earpiece, what reason would you have to press lock/power? You'd only want to press that to turn off the screen if you're on headset or speaker... So perhaps Apple added this as a way to quickly hang up a call if you're using the earpiece. Not the most intuitive thing in the world, but.. you never know!
Isn't that how it has been for a long time now? I've often used the lock/sleep button to end calls that were done via the earpiece, while that wouldn't apply to calls that were via speakerphone, headphones, Bluetooth, etc.

Same thing happens on my other iPhone running 10.2.1. I think this is as intended, not a bug...

I think I agree with your edit: this seems more like a feature than a bug. Makes this button kind of the "stop whatever your doing with the phone" button. To me it seems quite intuitive. Your thumb is right there to quickly terminate a call without having to drop the phone, move your thumb (or even your other hand) and hit the big red button.

Seeing really nice battery life on iOS10.3 to be honest.

Idle drain seems way less.

Has anyone else had their iCloud Backup mysteriously get turned on after turning it off to run the beta?

I was annoyed to find it on today; I turned it off when I upgraded to the beta because I wanted to keep at least one pre-beta backup handy in case I have to revert. Thankfully I haven't had to revert, because now I can't since I no longer have a backup from before I upgraded!

I guess from now on I'm going to do an iTunes backup before I run betas since I can't trust iCloud Backup to stay turned off.

I'm in the habit of ALWAYS doing iTunes backups before installing iOS beta software.
And sometimes, I'll backup the backup.

Animations: when i select an app to open its opening with a slide to the left action as if I'm in safari browsing and i swipe left or right for the previous pages. I didn't notice this before. Any thoughts?

Update: I missed that it was already noted in Beta 3. Sorry for the duplicate.

The Passcode pop-up (used to authorize iOS updates, Restrictions, & Touch ID) now has ○○○○ instead of ----. It matches the passcode request on the Lock Screen by filling in the open circles with filled circles when a character is entered.

This has been present since maybe Beta 3 or 4. Definitely not new in this beta.

Can you take a video? It's animating properly (zoom from icon) on my device.

That could very well be a hardware, not a software, problem. What phone do you have? Have you restarted the phone since developing this issue?

I also have this issue.
[doublepost=1489155718][/doublepost]Has someone reported it to Apple?

After spending 18 hours or so on this beta. I can say that 10.3 is ready for the public in my personal opinion.. the only bug I see is that App Store reviews don't show. Which probably is a server side fix

The funny thing is in ios 10.2.1 i dont had this Problem. This only happen in ios 10.3 since Beta 1. And yes i allready restarted my phone. This Problem confuse me a little bit. Last time i made a Downgrade from ios 10.3 beta 1 to ios 10.2.1 and after this The Homebutton works again fine for me.
I use a a iphone 7 Plus 128gb

I gave them Feedback in this Feedback App. You made this too?

Ah, the fact that you have an iPhone 7 likely does make this a software problem of some sort (since the home button in not mechanical, like all preceding phones). I'd go ahead and report this to Apple (don't count on others doing it).

I agree this is normal behavior. Back in one of the iOS 8 or 9 betas there was a bug that would hangup the call no matter what even on headset. That was resolved. There would be no reason to push the button when using the earpiece since the display blanks anyway when against your ear.

Guys this is a feature since years. I don't remember but I don't remember not having this feature since years. This is how I normally cut calls at times.

I apologize if this has been reported, but I just found a seemingly new feature that doesn't appear to be in 10.2, and that I never noticed before. In iMessages containing the name of a musical group, the name is now an active link and pops up more information, as shown in the screenshot.

Been reading these for quite a few betas now but my first post -- woohoo!!
