Can someone explain how iMessage in cloud will work if you have 2 iPhones, both logged into same main iCloud, but iMessage (on one phone) logged into a different appleid?
Because its an Airplay 2 press release, not an iOS 11.4 release. Something is off about this. Why isn’t anyone detailing the official Messages in iCloud? All the articles thus far either only discuss AirPlay 2, or just add a throwaway line mentioning Messages.
Buzzfeed started all this today with zero proof. I dont understand why asking for actual proof is this huge deal and everyone is freaking out.
I hope battery life is fixed.
Why does Apple's article only talk about HomePod and Airplay 2? You are honestly going to tell me thats not strange? So what u are saying is buzzfeeds article and apples official document coming out 15min of each other is just mere co-incidence?

Really, where are all the other features of iOS 11.4? Mainly the biggest, Messages in the Cloud? This is not a typical iOS press release."iOS 11.4 brings stereo pairs and multi-room audio with AirPlay 2" is the title of Apple's official press release, so I'd say it's both.
WWDC for iOS 12 is literally in 6 days. Lmao. About time.![]()

Also I suppose airplay2 is bigger news because it can generate more sales of the HomePod. I’ve held off buying another one because of airplay2 being delayed.
And you don't find that strange?I think it's more of a HomePod press release with the "oh btw, iOS 11.4" added in there.
Funny, what you highlighted doesn't say its coming Today.
I'm not asking a hard question, I want actual confirmation not hype.
But it doesn't mean it is. Thats all in trying to get across. Because nothing says the word "today".Unless it’s been pulled again but again the lack of iMessage in the cloud in that article doesn’t mean 11.4 isn’t coming out today...
So is Airplay 2 backwards compatible to Airplay 1 devices like stereo receivers, Airport Express or do both standards live in iOS 11.4 and future updates and Airplay 2 only activates when there is appropriate hardware? I assume 10.4 doesn't "break" older Airplay devices.
And you don't find that strange?
What is AirPower? This to me means that airpower is going to be delayed even further, unless 11.4 already contains code to manage airpower. But I'd imagine someone would have found traces of it in that case
