I been watching mine, trying not to let it catch me looking. Practicing for the iPhone X. SO FAR HAVE NOT NOTICED ANY SHAPE SHIFTING OR COLOR CHANGES, STILL JET BLACK, AND 7 PlUS SIZE.My phone looks visually almost the same as it did two days ago with the exception of the new control center the unified notification pane and some font tweaking. Oh but they did take away the force touch appswitcher from the left side of the screen.
You won't be given a list before you install if that is what you are asking. You'll get a message when you try and run them, but by then it will be too late and you will be stuck.
I also feel users are keeping their devices longer, and are thinking twice before updating an older device.
It works flawlessly. I got the forced update for 12.7, downgraded to 12.6.2 and did all the updates to iOS 11 with my old iTunes 12.6.2.
iPhone 6s plus, iPhone 7, iPad Pro 12.9 first gen, iPad Pro 10.5.
everything as before. Syncing and local backup iOS 11 without any problem.
Well apple needs to fix this. They use Office 365 for mail and their users are using the Apple Mail client.. that doesn't currently work. So I'd say it's not her company at fault.

Didn’t anybody test this at your wife’s company? So it really shouldn’t be an issue as the mail is not “down”.
However those companies who use exchange, no issues.
Based on just the final 24 hours, which isn't much of a statistically signifiant indicator of much one way or another.Yes, that was my original post. They put out a corporate memo telling people not to upgrade. This entire thread is about people not upgrading at the usual rate, thus my post. It's not an issue in the sense that nobody is lacking e-mail access. It is an issue in the sense that for a number of reasons, people aren't upgrading at the rate Apple is known for.
Unless you get a new iphone.I have 90 32-bit apps, that will not run under iOS11. OK, I blame the developers. But that doesn't help. I won't update to iOS 11.
That is another issue, I have about 120 32-bit apps. I probably only use a handful of them with any regularity, but there are some with no real replacement. You might know the company Eye-Fi that sells SD cards with a built-in WiFi radio to allow a direct transfer of images from a camera to a phone. A few months back it announced to stop support for some older cards, where stopping support meant no longer updating the app that does the image transfer. Their existing app would probably keep working for years were it not for that pesky 32-bit issue.Just go for it. It's fine and really nice - if you are not running 32bit Apps.
That is a great way to alienate customers. There should be no reason for this company to stop supporting older cards. I’m familiar with them I almost bought their cards, but now my camera has direct access to my iPhone via WiFi.That is another issue, I have about 120 32-bit apps. There are solutions obviously, buy a newer card from them, buy a newer camera with built-in WiFi, or buy an SD card reader with Lightning.
Could you elaborate more about the metric part? The entire metric seems to start really losing meaning when taking into account that some 200 million devices were just added to the pool of those outright incapable of updating to the latest iOS.
I mean, my own household will peak at 50% installation on active devices, down from 100% two days ago.
My company had the same advice. The IT dept said Microsoft recommended installing their mail app... which they admit... has the same problem as the IOS 11 Mail app.My company (10,000 employees world wide) advised us not to update because of the outlook bug.
I installed it on my 7Plus. Can honestly say I have not noticed any slowdown at all. In fact I actually got impression things were working a tad bit faster. Nothing significant mind you. Siri sounds much more real.
Patience is a virtue most people could use to practice more often. This is bad. 50% battery drain in less than hour just going on Facebook.
And phone hot to touch.
Not happy. This is on iPhone 7plus.
Why can't apple test their iOS fully before release. Every B****y time this kind of thing happens. Puts you off iPhones for good.
I haven't heard android becoming useless after every update!
Except that you are given a list before you install. Settings>General>About>Applications.
It was in an article in this very site and at numerous other locations.
