with a new iOS Volume HUD ...will that mean the MacOS get a change too? I think it currently is modeled after the Mac side. on the Mac it isn't too bad since it is lower panel, though just a large square. I feel a simply bar with speakers left and right would suffice.

One thing I'd love in iOS 13 is for incoming phone calls to go to a drop-down notification if you're using the device. There's absolutely no reason for it to completely take over your screen anymore.

This would be one of the only other things I would ask for out of iOS13.

Wish list...
- Dark mode
- Volume indicator
- Multi-user Siri for HomePod
- Incoming call indicator notifications options
- better Apple TV control from HomePod when HomePod is not the speaker for the Apple TV

Far fetched wish list...
- Multi-user iOS support
- the ability to rename Siri
- not needing to say the trigger in response to Siri all the time

Why are they adding dark mode? No one wants it And no one will use it if it comes out.. what a waste of billions of dollars to develop it

Beg to differ. Coming from an office environment using databases designed in a sea of white, my eyes can't wait for dark mode. Then there's the just before bed experience, where opening my phone literally wakes up my wife. Dark mode might not be for everyone, but I think you'll be surprised how many flock to it

The ability to rename Siri = a bunch of Trekkies simultaneously naming their phone "computer" :D

I would 100% be one of them.

Each year, the updates to both iOS and Android become more and more insignificant. They are glorified minor releases. They are all so minor that they can be served through a .1 or .x.x update and nobody would care.

An option to turn off this nagging "You are not connected to the internet" (Can't recall the exact wording) notification would be my pick.

Why oh why do I need that notification when I can see the Wifi/cellular Icons showing just that.

I’ve been ragging on EverythingApplePro for claiming to have exclusive leaks and stuff, but wasn’t he the first person to talk about a redesigned volume HUD in iOS 13?

I’ll be holding off a couple of months after it’s release to decide if I want to install it on my 6s plus. Maybe I was paranoid but my phone feels like it becomes sluggish every time (except for iOS 12) I’ve upgraded to the latest OS on my phone.

Well that’s most likely because it has. Your 6s is getting pretty long in the tooth. How many more of these major iOS updates are you hoping for?

New volume indicator! At long last. Can't believe we actually had to see that huge square occupying the whole screen for 12 versions!
One of the worst designs from Apple. And how long they didn’t change that. What an agile tech company. Meanwhile YouTube app has a better UI since years...

Must every new version of iOS dramatically change how multitasking works?

A chicken head falling out of the lightning port every time I changed the volume would be better than the current volume control

You, fine person, have won the internet today.

I like all these rumored features. Dark mode will be great, better multitasking and a better way to control the volume without taking up the screen. However, these really don’t sound like full number iOS update features. Especially after Apple took a year off to build up iOS 12. What’s the big new features that took two years to create? The above mentioned features seem more like a partial decimal update to 12.

New UI thanks. Same sins 2007.

I wish I could just swap OneUI from Samsung with iOS on my ipad and still use the iOS apps...and I would be satisfied...I won't be missing a file manager, mouse support, external drive options nor other multitasking options...........

What about a less obtrusive way of receiving phone calls?! There is nothing more annoying that being in the middle of writing an email, text, web browsing and receiving a phone call that takes you out of whatever you were doing. How about we just get a banner style notification on the top with answer / decline buttons.

I remember reading rumours that Maps will also get a redesign in iOS 13. Not just the data, but also the UI.
Hopefully, this app is a mess compared to google maps

The dark mode is cool but I just feel that it is a bit overhyped!
I am more excited about iOS on the iPad and what they will do with it.
it could be a nice energy saver for oled iPhones

You mean 2013

Yes, I want a new Reminder app that is synced with the Calendar app! I want to easily see my "tasks" for the week and see which reminders are scheduled for which date.
this is why i use google calender and gmails and tasks. The iOS/macOS Apps are so outdated and unsmart, its not suitable for effective use.

Well if rumors are correct and the 2019 iPhones come with OLED display panels then EVERYONE is going to want Dark Mode. Considering that OLED provides true black then Dark Mode is going to look fantastic. The contrast between the colored icons/text against the blackness .... well colours will TRULY pop.
Besides, blackened pixels on OLED panels use no power, therefore iPhone battery life will be much much better.
I mean why light up areas of the display that no one really needs to look at only to have it drain power.

Dark Mode coupled with OLED is just the smartest thing!!

So don't use dark mode if you don't like it?

White text on a dark background is more difficult to read and more strain on the eyes. It’s a fact. Any optometrist can tell you that.
Dark mode is nothing but a “thing” some people think is “cool”.
Want dark mode? Use inverse in settings.
