iOS 13 to Include Dark Mode, iPad Upgrades, CarPlay Improvements and More

Introducing dark mode. Only available on new 2019 model iPhones. The new killer feature.
I want multiple profiles for the iPad! It's ridiculous that the iPad Pro is marketed as a 'computer' but can't be used by more than one person. What if the iMac was like that?! A maxed out iPad Pro is nearly as much as an iMac so how about you give it a little love Apple?
I’m predicting Apple will introduce Logic Pro and Final Cut Pro for the iPad Pro at WWDC, alongside iOS 13’s dark mode. They will be ready for release when iOS 13 drops to the public.
With the framework in place to port iOS apps to Mac and vice versa, and with dark mode officially available in iOS (Apple’s pro apps have always had a darker theme to them) this will be the time for the pro Apple apps to make the iOS transition.
I highly doubt Xcode will be coming though. That is probably still a few years out.
With great apps like Cubasis 2 and LumaFusion available now, that show just how amazing the iPad Pro can be, there is absolutely no reason for Apple to hold out any longer on their similar pro apps.

I want grid management and hidden app names on the home screen way way more.
I’m hoping Logic Pro comes to iPad Pro as well. Essentially for the same idea - do a rough cut on mobile, finish on desktop. Ideally the frameworks would get better to enable lots of new pro apps.

I would realy like to see a core user manageable file/folder sys with a consistent UI across the whole ecosys, accessible from all apps for All types of files.
The convoluted file sys of iso is a huge handicap. And the files app/cloud soultion is very compromised.
To me this is the biggest handicap holding a kick ass product like the new iPad Pro from its true Pro potential... along with the restricted i/o for external devices and storage.

For word processing, comparing documents side by side is a basic functionality that's been available since Windows 95.
Looking forward to finally--maybe--having the iPad able to do something I have been able to do on my laptop for 25 years.

Next thing: give Americans the option to have day/month/year on the phone. The standard workaround is setting to UK but that means the £ and British spelling everywhere. I can live with adjusting everything else (Celsius, 24 hour clock, Monday first day), but just want to have my phone in English but not use this wretched month/day format.

Calendar improvements (or better yet, just buy Fantastical and replace Calendar.app)

Push for Gmail accounts! More obvious indication that video recording is in progress (little red dot blinking is not enough). Safari tabs switchable directly from the task switcher. I can’t think of anything else.
CarPlay sucks!!! 
I purchased a BMW 430xi with the CarPlay option and it is total junk. I disabled CarPlay and use the standard BMW phone/media interface with BMW mapping ... which is FANTASTIC.
Apple should be ashamed of CarPlay, it is total JUNK and the CarPlay maps are a total JOKE.

Are you serious? CarPlay on my wife’s Fusion is a godsend.
Yes I am very serious because companies like BMW already have a fantastic mobile interface and mapping solution. I think the reason is that BMW has been developing their phone & multi-media interfaces, plus mapping solutions, for over ten years, so they have a huge head start over Apple. For some auto manufacturers, who have not invested over a decade and tens of millions in their own solutions, CarPlay may be a good solution.
I should have been more clear in my criticism, but when I think of the $600 CarPlay option for BMW, I get so mad because it was a huge waste of money compared to BMW's solution. I was the very first person at my BMW dealership to purchase CarPlay and was so excited, but thank goodness BMW provides an option to completely disable the CarPlay option (that they sold me
). Sucks I wasted $600, but the BMW interface has many more features than CarPlay, a much better UI, plus their maps (and their mapping user interface) is 1000% better than CarPlay mapping.
