Believe that when I see it.

Are you serious? CarPlay on my wife’s Fusion is a godsend.
Album art works with my Apple Carplay in my 2019 Acura RDX when using Apple Music.
Had a simplified version of it for years. Bluetooth connection to car speakers, as well ability to make handsfree calls and talk to Siri using handsfree, pretty seamless between the 3 including Apple Maps navigation. All I have to do it put Iphone in the cradle hooked to the rearview mirror and start the car. The cradle provides wireless charging too. Would love to figure a way to use steering wheel controls to rewind/skip audio recordings. Perhaps there is 3rd party bluetooth control pad?I wish CarPlay could work without a head unit. Just get in car, plug in iPhone to charge and press CarPlay. Put iPhone in landscape orientation and have at it
There are apps for offline maps. The only two features I want:
- Offline maps
- Usable Files app
Hopefully Album Art will be visible on CarPlay and not just a Blur background..
Mark my words. They'll find a reason to only permit iPhone 7 and newer to upgrade. Everyone else will have to buy new phones if they want the cool, new features.![]()
Haha, this honestly cracks me up. I really couldn’t care less about anything that is coming....except for the iOS home screen redesign. That is seriously the only thing I am looking forward too. And also, looking forward to more multitasking features for the iPad as well.
Do you see a clear picture of the AlbumArt ?
The highly anticipated dark mode is coming to iOS after debuting on macOS. I can’t wait for the beta!
I respect that different people have different needs, and don’t begrudge you your desired features.
But i’ve never understood the point of dark mode, never used it on macOS, and just don’t get the point.
I’m just happy everyone will finally stop whining about it so we can move on to real problems like multi-user support, etc.
You got me there!“I don’t care about any of the three things. Except the one thing. And the second thing.”
I use it on my MacBook Pro since my Air doesn’t have Mojave. Dark mode is one of those things that after trying it you won’t go back.
Bad publications do have good reporters. Why do rumour sites give Mark Gurman and Bloomberg any credibility?
That said, none of this should be a surprise.
Oh yeah, iOS reaaaaally will be set apart from Android with a "cool dark mode". Who needs Siri integrated with other services like Spotify or an email client that renders emails with a decent font size, or Animoji's integrated in WhatsApp or a smarter and keyboard with adjustable key sizes, or a alarm clock integrated with a 3rd party music service or a reasonable aperture after more than 12 closed versions of IOS. Truly the salvation of apple, advertise dark mode as a "major" or "significant" improvement. Wow, what an innovative company. Now I see why the Chinese companies are being sued by youknowwho.
Android has the home screen right, allowing people to combine widgets and apps as they please. Hope we see that coming to iOS 13. I'd be a very happy chappy then.
I'll bet $20 that it's not pure black.
