Watching Ted Lasso.Every other day I wake up, we have another iOS bug. What has Craig Federighi and the iOS team was doing during the iOS 15 Beta period?
The message "T-Mobile Wi-Fi" may not be a bug. It's what your phone shows in the status bar if you invoke the Control Center. It means that your phone can make phone calls using a WiFi connection instead of Cellular connection. My car has a simple Bluetooth connection and on the info screen it now says "T-Mobile Wi-Fi" even though it's connected to the cellular network. Not a major issue..but another bug.
Imagine the number of bugs that will occur if they do make a car. Imagine getting into your Apple car and discovering that it won't start due to an update to Bluetooth. This is why I don't think Apple should be doing a car.. The number of iOS 15 bugs/feature removals etc is ridiculous!
I don’t know why but Apple Podcast app has been an absolute disaster for at least 40% of its existence. For those that say no, you are forgetting the first 2-3 years. It was absolute garbage.Dont even get me started on apple podcasts app + car play. an absolute hate crime.
I submitted several issues and didn't hear anything back. Granted, they were minor problems, but not even an acknowledgement. This indeed makes me wonder if they're reading anything we send. What in the wild world of sports is going on over there? Did anyone read the beta test feedback or whatever the procedure is? Is there a procedure?
I'll fast-forward five years and 2 days when apple apostles will reduce the issue to a little annoyance that affects only a few usersFast-forward five years when Apple has released their electric automobile and users run into software issues that prevent the car from driving and are told "refer to Apple Support articles [that do little to amend the issue]."
I dunno, CarPlay flat out didn't work in my brand new 2017 civic with iOS 10. iOS11 hit and boom problem solved and its worked every sinceSeems to be a pattern. Odd number iOS releases tend to have the most notable bugs show up.
EDIT: Add on the fact that remote working was utilized and some people just aren’t efficient at home (even if they think they are).
