Lots of little UI quirks on my iPhone 14 Pro Max on iOS 16.1. Mainly around the search bar in App Library being too high or the dynamic island covering part of the top. Like the UI keeps shifting up.
Prolly can still install it through OTA and IPSW should be up next week unless beta 2 also drops too with itNot sure you can get 16.1 on the 14s yet…. That model isn’t showing up in the dev portal for IPSWs. Maybe beta 2.
Hmmmm 🤔
Can you test if the island shifts down when you use reachability?Lots of little UI quirks on my iPhone 14 Pro Max on iOS 16.1. Mainly around the search bar in App Library being too high or the dynamic island covering part of the top. Like the UI keeps shifting up.
How in the world did you get next year's iPhone already? Is Tim your uncle? Is that OTA?
It does. Can you test if the island shifts down when you use reachability?
Fine for me. Both the release and TestFlight builds work fineAnyone’s Monzo app suddenly stopped working? Crashing on launch for me. Has worked fine throughout all of beta 16 but 16.1 seems to have broken it.
You go for it man. That first smell of the new tech when the box opens 😍😜
Let us know if it does fixes the activation bug as well

During setup, I was asked if I wanted to continue with the beta program. It then downloaded a “16.0” delta around 325-350mb (I forget), and continued with setup.Prolly can still install it through OTA and IPSW should be up next week unless beta 2 also drops too with it
I did phone to phone transfer and took less time than iCloud restore.During setup, I was asked if I wanted to continue with the beta program. It then downloaded a “16.0” delta around 325-350mb (I forget), and continued with setup.
It did seem to activate my eSIM just fine on VZW.
As for the rest… well… we’ve been here over an hour on device-device restore… (pardon my cat fur life). If I don’t get an estimate or a blip on the progress meter in the next hour, I’m gonna cancel and restore from last night’s iCloud backup. I’ll just have to redownload all my music (and sign back in to all of my twitter accounts).
Thanks…. I’ll try delete and reinstall.Fine for me. Both the release and TestFlight builds work fine
Doing that right now, too. Good times!I did phone to phone transfer and took less time than iCloud restore.
Something's wrong there. I got an immediate time estimate (59 minutes) and its been counting down since.During setup, I was asked if I wanted to continue with the beta program. It then downloaded a “16.0” delta around 325-350mb (I forget), and continued with setup.

I’ll try again once I get 16.1 on the 14PM. Maybe that was the hang up the first time. However we are talking like 750gb of data.Something's wrong there. I got an immediate time estimate (59 minutes) and its been counting down since.
Where did the duck go? I always thought that photo was great. 😂Doing that right now, too. Good times!
I chose to do that also, over WiFi. Seemed to be the faster method. Took about 30 minutes including getting my watch paired which immediately saw the new phone while I was wearing it and had the pairing option on the screen.I did phone to phone transfer and took less time than iCloud restore.
He'll be back after MondayWhere did the duck go? I always thought that photo was great. 😂
So you can just pair the watch to the new phone without having to unpair and re-pair. I honestly didn’t know. UghI chose to do that also, over WiFi. Seemed to be the faster method. yup - was seamless and probably took no longer than a few minutes. So you can just pair the watch to the new phone without having to unpair and re-pair. I honestly didn’t know. Ugh
Yeah. The screen on the watch goes in to that circle progress thing but only takes maybe a couple of minutes. So you can just pair the watch to the new phone without having to unpair and re-pair. I honestly didn’t know. Ugh
