is it just available with apple tv? would love to have it working with flashscore (for sports). Or any other app.
3rd party apps like Flashscore didn’t get access to the build for live activities until the 16.1 BETA came out. I asked them on Twitter if they are planning on using Live activities because the Premier League scores on Live activities will not be available in the U.K.

Please let us also know if they answer to your question.

They did.

“The developers are looking at ways in which we could work with the Live Activities feature, but we have nothing confirmed so far, thank you!”

Woohoo, HomeKit not detecting me (the owner) as home again. It’s gonna be a long day.

Oh, and GPS is dangerously broken and battery drain is obnoxious, even for it being the time when I’m redownloading my music.

GPS bug is only on 14 series right?

Not on my 14, and battery life has been exceptional although I’ve been playing with the phone a lot. But we’ve all got a different set up, so different experiences.

I -believe- it was on the 14 Pro series due to the dual-band GPS. At least, that’s what the speculation was.

Now, I did have 16.1 on my 13 PM, but I honestly don’t think I had used GPS (as in driving directions with Maps) on it before I got the 14 PM.

I’m having the iMessage issue and the cannot update software issue.

I have wiped my phone and went to set up as new but it’s still on 16.1

Anyway to get my phone to 16.0.1 without computer?

How in the dagnabbit do you get rid of this floating keyboard on the iPad and just get the full screen keyboard back?

Whatsapp.

Can send photo/video IF you send it from photos app, share sheet, WhatsApp that way.

Tried a reinstall. No fix.

EDIT: fingers crossed. Update didn’t fix anything.

I picked up my iPhone 14 Pro Max Friday night. After restoring from my iCloud backup I got a message saying the iOS16.1 beta was available. I know the risks and accept them. I always like being one of the first to install the new tech. I installed it. Much to my chagrin, the GPS was wonky when I went for a drive on Saturday. I guess I'll wait for the next update on 16.1.

Does the widgets updates themselves while always on display ? The time gets updated but the widgets still are frozen under AOD even in iOS 16.1 ?
After my feedback to Apple, they asked me if there are any other widgets that are not working under AOD....tell me if you found any other

Everyone keeps saying to install the ISPW to go back to IOS 16. Can someone please explain how to do this in dummy steps? I went to that ISPW website on my iphone, clicked on the link to download ios 16 and nothing happens.

I'm trying to go from 16.1 to 16.0 because my GPS is majorly screwed. Thanks!

Get the ipsw on your Mac
Backup the phone as it is now (encrypted) on the Mac
Go the backup folder locate the info.plist and open it up in textedit. Locate productversion it should say the product version as 16.1. Change this to 16.0. Restore the phone from the ipsw and then restore the backup from Mac.

By the time it’s available to me I won’t be able to downgrade to 15.7 to get my photo library working again, genius.
Wow... that was rude... I don't think anyone in here is under any obligation to perform tests for people who don't want to install the betas.. so getting upset because no one responded to your 1st or 2nd request in unwarranted.

If you are this concerned, you are better off NOT worrying about the latest betas as it wounds like you are looking to install it on your daily driver.
