Download iOS 16 IPSW, hold alt, click on check for update button in finder and install the iOS. Your data is fine it’s just the iOS that gets reinstalled.
Tried this and somehow hosed it up...

Now in recovery mode and the restore of the iOS16 IPSW (from Dev portal) gives these error. It tried to download the file directly but got maybe 25% and threw that error

Is anyone have problems with their phone dropping a cellular connection?

I’ll have 5G UW one minute, LTE the next, and then drop to SOS.

14 PM, Verizon, greater Pittsburgh area.

I searched, but didn't find anything...

Is anyone else having an issue with non-Apple agenda widgets not showing calendar events? I can see them in the apps themselves, but the widgets are blank. This is in Widgy, Wigetwizard, Fantastical, Readle Calendar, etc. Yes, I've checked permissions, and have tried many different widget apps. This first occurred in the new iPad beta, and now in iOS 16.1.

Exactly the same here for me on beta 1 of 16.1. The events & tasks are there to see in the app , however the widget itself just says No Events or Tasks etc. This is with Fantastical , Calendar 5 & 24 Me. If I open app & then close & go back to lock screen it still shows blank. Appears to be a bug with no work around it seems.

I made the mistake of updating to the 16.1 beta today on my new 14 pro. Is there an easier way to downgrade back to 16.0 or 16.0.1 without restoring from a backup? It took me forever yesterday to restore. I guess, not being the App Library via swipe isn't that critical. I can still search for an App so I can open it. I opened a bug via Feedback. Hopefully Apple fixes this soon.
I don't know if there is an easier way, but I ended up wiping my 14PM, then set it up as a new phone on 16.0.1. Restored my data from iCloud, but not as a backup. 16.1b1 is awful for 14PM. Had the GPS bug too, which I discovered while driving around as well as the App Library

I had to do a full downgrade (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203282) - painful, but the broken gps AND no swipe was enough for me. 1 lesson learned though, when i originally did the upgrade it upgraded my watch too, so now i won’t be able to sync it to my phone until I upgrade again, hopefully to a more stable release.
Same, but my watch was already paired to my old 12 Pro. I had to unpair, reset the watch, and set it back up again. :(

Home

This is now the third time I have launched Home and I get the “iCloud Required - Enable iCloud” warning. I “Enable…” and add my Mini. Usually good for the day. Then later or next day …..

Mini is not on beta.

sigh…

I’m not having any of the issues that have been listed here on my new 14ProMax. I did set it up as a new device, and then updated to 16.1.
I’m not experiencing any of the above issues either on my iPhone 14 Pro, and I did not set up as new.

i did a phone to phone transfer, then installed 16.1. Everything is going well.

Someone using a MK with IPadOS 16 beta can tell me if it’s possible to bring the Notification Center or the control center by swiping up at the top of the screen ? I can no longer do this since I upgrade to this beta and it’s annoying.

I use a 12.9 iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard and can confirm that it does not work with this beta 2. Also the Dock does not come up with the Magic Keyboard’s trackpad (Swipe Down at Bottom) most of the time. This beta is a mess when coupled with the Magic Keyboard.
I have move back to beta 1 for the above reasons.

Couple of recent major issue on both devices :( Both on 16.1

iPhone 13 ProMax
Was in Messages and the phone froze. Couldn’t swipe anything. Try to shut it down and you could not swipe to Off. Had to soft reset.

iPad Pro 11 2020
Even worse.
Have had it freeze 2x today. Once on YouTube - had to soft reset, once on Files - also had to soft reset.

After the soft reset they work fine. Almost. Does anyone know a possible entry that might link to this in Analytics?

Feedback reported.
If no update tomorrow will ipsw the iphone.
