Is this bug fixed. When in the music app and I’m trying to airplay to speakers it won’t let select anything but the first option in the list. It will however let me do it from the control center.

I think he submitted 4 bugs to Apple in 24 hours: this 16.1 beta is by far the worse I’ve ever had.

For example: I’m on a XS… do shortcuts automations based on plugging the phone work for you on 16.1?

I made the mistake of updating to the 16.1 beta today on my new 14 pro. Is there an easier way to downgrade back to 16.0 or 16.0.1 without restoring from a backup? It took me forever yesterday to restore. I guess, not being the App Library via swipe isn't that critical. I can still search for an App so I can open it. I opened a bug via Feedback. Hopefully Apple fixes this soon.
I had to do a full downgrade (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203282) - painful, but the broken gps AND no swipe was enough for me. 1 lesson learned though, when i originally did the upgrade it upgraded my watch too, so now i won’t be able to sync it to my phone until I upgrade again, hopefully to a more stable release.

You shouldn't have any problem pairing the Watch as long as it's on watchOS 9 unless you're downgrading to iOS 15.7 and not iOS 16.0.

Is the battery life improved over 16 RC? My 13 Pro is struggling on that (100% health).

Still having this app library issue when you swipe down to see all apps and the search bar and “cancel” area is pretty much out of the touch zone at the top of the screen.

Have to swipe right to get out of it.

Download iOS 16 IPSW, hold alt, click on check for update button in finder and install the iOS. Your data is fine it’s just the iOS that gets reinstalled.

LOL - anyone lucky enough not to be dealing with this swipe issue is Lucky! Cause it's a frigin' nightmare. NIGHTMARE! I'm happy to have learned the swipe inverse on the folder buttons on bottom - is there such a workaround when on a 'home screen' or any screen other than the App Library?

I jumped on my iPads and her iPhone to kill the 'auto-update' after what feels like destroying my iPhone 13 Pro Max - but with this thread, I'm a bit relieved

Its not just me - or you - or him her or them, it's everywhere and anywhere iOS 16.1's downloaded - not saying you don't have the issue - am saying there's a better chance you do if you did than if you didn't do it;)

If you've not yet swung for beta 16.1 Do Not Update Yet! It's an exercise in futility to MOST!

my 14PM keep filling up storage w/ system data until the out of space error message pops up.

Restart is required to clear it.

Does this fix the icloud password prompt every restart? It happened to my iphone after updating to the official 16.0.

Sheesh. Just because you’ve asked doesn’t mean people are going to drop everything to do it. Pretty sure the Venn diagram of iOS 16.1 beta testers and Mojave users is pretty close to 2 separate circles. If people didn’t respond after your second request, I’d just drop it and test it when its available to you.

I was fine with your post up to the very last sentence. Although the 16.1 beta does appear to have some significant with GPS and the lock screens, you have no idea if this affects most users or only some minor subset that happens to post in these forums.

By the time it’s available to me I won’t be able to downgrade to 15.7 to get my photo library working again, genius.
