Is anyone having trouble accessing the app library by swiping from the right on their iPhone? Every time I wake from sleep, I can’t access it this way and I to have to practically restart the phone. I’m on an iPhone 12 Pro, latest 16.1.

Same as iOS 16, it’s the Slide Over, not page bending. I miss it too, but it’s not that huge of deal.

Had what sounds like the same thing on an iPad 9th gen yesterday—scrolling became super sticky, delayed, and unresponsive. Went away after a restart or two and hasn’t come back so far.

Have you tried off loading the app and reinstalling?

I wish they let you down version a release or two in the app store like they do in test flight, I’ve used that to fixman issue or two like this, without having to delete, which can also remove local data.

My 3rd party widgets (home or lock screen) aren't updating, either at all or only when the app is opened.

This is relatively common for a first beta, but after the smoothness of 16.0 it's irritating.

Mine currently do this running 16.0 All of my rings in the fitness app sometimes go blank and only opening the app will fix it. Sometimes the weather widgets won’t update either

Wasn't it a couple of years ago that the beta wasn't available for the new phones yet so those receiving it on launch day could not set the backup back to the new phone? Anyway, since then I hold off installing the beta till I get the new phone.

Yes they did a .1 beta before launch and I had to do a basic setup of the new phone, update it to the beta, wipe it and then do the transfer with the QR code.

Just looked at my 13PM.
Forecast with temp is different than the single current temp and different than the app temp.

Once I unlock, open, and open app, they all Match

2 things I've noticed.
Battery life on my 12p seems better. Especially in standby.
I hadn't launched the ESPN app since the public release of ios 16 but, at least on 16.1, the full screen video player is fixed. It hadn't worked the entire time I was on the beta.

Just had to enter my passcode to start an encrypted backup to iTunes on both iPad (fully unlocked) and iPhone (locked when initiating backup but unlocked when connected to computer with iTunes open). Interesting change…
