Did they add the volume control back to the music player on the lock screen?

What an unbelievably horrible oversight by the design team. They really be hiring anybody these days...
I doubt it was an oversight, but instead deliberate. They likely also had many meetings on it.

if it bothers you, send feedback. I myself don’t miss it. It was the last place I adjusted the volume.

There is zero justification for removing it. A horrible decision through and through.

Wow. It’s not like they axe murdered someone.

Given that volume controls are physically available on the side of the device mere inches from the former location of the virtual volume slider, I’d say there was a teensy bit more than zero justification.

And I say this as someone who liked that virtual volume control…

Anyone else’s Compass completely messed up on their 13 Pro’s?
I’m aiming my 13P straight at I-80 and it shows me as pointing parallel.

That’s why I asked here.

Anyways, I notice new bug on Bank of America apps, when I open the apps and it crashes every time I open the apps.. never had this problem on beta 1

I'm seeing a lot more apps constantly run in the background even with background refresh off. Mainly Facebook and FindMy.

I’m on beta 2 and there is no volume control on the music player on the Lock Screen.

I just use the volume buttons, but I have plenty of empathy for those who need the volume control to be in the music player on the Lock Screen.

(Don’t know why auto correct keeps capitalizing “Lock Screen”)

Saw this in the iPhone forum:

Basically, if you set a timer, have "Always On" enabled and the screen locks, the timer shows the minutes fine but only shows dashes for the seconds field. (Don't have a video because screen recording automatically stops when the screen locks so I'll use my other device to record it and submit a Feedback.)

Not sure if this is by design since Always On slows the screen refresh down to 1Hz.

UPDATE: seems the timer only shows the seconds on the Lock Screen when the remaining time is less than 1 minute. Seems odd since it's refreshing once a second anyway it could show the seconds the entire time.

Not really seeing an issue with the compass.
Now in the Compass app I am seeing an issue with elevation.

Actual 127ft while the Compass is showing anything from 110ft to 580ft.

Reported via Feedback.

Why would it?

AOD on my OnePlus goes down to 1Hz and the timer and stopwatch both show all the digits.
Why would Apple cut them out?

Sounds like a bug.

This beta is smooooooth with my new 14 Pro Max. All issues fixed.

My only complaint…I want a battery level to show on always on display…especially when I’m charging.

I know I could add a battery widget, but this seems like a thing, like the time, that should always be featured.

I like my weather and calendar apps visible as I use those constantly.

Walking around NYC, Maps is running perfectly and zero GPS issues.
The 16.1 beta is definitely smoother than 16.0.1, but still has a few issues of lag when opening/closing apps, but a big step in the right direction. Using an iPhone 14 Pro.
