Not really seeing an issue with the compass.
Now in the Compass app I am seeing an issue with elevation.
Actual 127ft while the Compass is showing anything from 110ft to 580ft.
Reported via Feedback.
This bothers me as well. I like the new design of the music widget on the lockscreen but the volume slider was really useful.Did they add the volume control back to the music player on the lock screen?
What an unbelievably horrible oversight by the design team. They really be hiring anybody these days...
Hahaha sorry I’m hoping it’s just an app update issue but yeah very annoyingOnly some of my 3rd Party apps are doing that. Thanks, now I can’t unsee it.
With the CIBC update today the e-deposit works for me now. (I’m on iOS 16.1 beta2)I'll just throw it out there that the devs at CIBC still haven't fixed their eDeposit in their mobile banking app...though reported on the first public iOS 16 beta.
*le sigh*
I haven't seen an update yet (also on 16.1 beta 2 - hence why I posted on this thread)With the CIBC update today the e-deposit works for me now. (I’m on iOS 16.1 beta2)
Neither has Blink (the camera app). And since the app is the ONLY way to access the Blink cameras its pretty sad they haven't. Granted it isn't totally dead just doesn't work in landscape when viewing recorded clips. Practically every other app on my phone has updated in prep for and since the release of 16.0
Mobile Banking version 10.42.2 - running on a 13 mini.
(It's under Privacy and Legal in the app)
Edit: Well, F - 10.43.4 is in the App Store (why wasn't it pushed?) - updating now.
Edit2: I can confirm that the eDeposit has been fixed.
Funny, don't see a sticky for it in the iOS16 section.Really these posts should go in the buggy apps thread.
Same here. iOS 16.1 beta has squashed a lot of annoying bugs with iOS 16 but my battery life is horrible on my 14ProMax right now. I’m constantly seeing FindMy and Facebook run in the background overnight with background activity turned off.iPhone 14 users are being put in a weird spot with this latest release. 16.0 is such a hot mess that I tried 16.1 beta only to see my battery life disappear in front of my eyes with mild usage of the phone. I’ve owned a lot of iPhones over the years and never before have I had so much stress dealing with bugs and making sure a fresh phone makes it till the end of the day. How I miss my iPhone 13 Pro now - upon release that phone had the most rock solid battery life with early iOS 15.
Didn't folks learn a long time ago to delete FB from their phones?Same here. iOS 16.1 beta has squashed a lot of annoying bugs with iOS 16 but my battery life is horrible on my 14ProMax right now. I have a shortcut that runs once a week and texts myself, working. Also tested this manually, working with blue bubble.Still cannot currently message yourself
Kind of.
Just added to the original thread. It is a crazy bug.
Saw this in the iPhone forum:
Basically, if you set a timer, have "Always On" enabled and the screen locks, the timer shows the minutes fine but only shows dashes for the seconds field. (Don't have a video because screen recording automatically stops when the screen locks so I'll use my other device to record it and submit a Feedback.)
Not sure if this is by design since Always On slows the screen refresh down to 1Hz.
UPDATE: seems the timer only shows the seconds on the Lock Screen when the remaining time is less than 1 minute. Seems odd since it's refreshing once a second anyway it could show the seconds the entire time.
Watch does this too. It’s always bothered me since 1 Hz is still once a second, but I’m guessing it’s not just screen refresh, but also CPU, but it seems like it should be something they could do, since the timer is running and all.Why would it?
AOD on my OnePlus goes down to 1Hz and the timer and stopwatch both show all the digits.
Why would Apple cut them out?
Sounds like a bug.
Yes most probably.I have a shortcut that runs once a week and texts myself, working. Also tested this manually, working with blue bubble.
Does it work for me bec I already had a thread going and keys shared?

Does this new beta fixes the issue with Apple ID password always get prompt every device restart? i've done everything and its annoying as hell to ask for a password every restart.
16.0.2 did not fix it. I hope 16.1 will fix it...
Still no startup or shutdown chime on my 14 PM. Anyone else?
I have the same with Facebook, but I guess it is a Facebook issue. Anyways I have this with several apps once and a while and only a hard reset (or update of the app) resolves this. I find it weird it is even possible if you have background disabled for that specific app.Same here. iOS 16.1 beta has squashed a lot of annoying bugs with iOS 16 but my battery life is horrible on my 14ProMax right now.
