Apple needs to fire whoever the idiot was who put this horrifically ugly line around the island and it's widgets! This has completely ruined the experience for me as it's always there. Even using shortcuts has the outline showing up every single time. Wtf Tim Apple??????

The haptics are way softer and feel non-existent in this build?
Yup. Not a fan... interesting that they're still adjusting this. I wonder if they're responding to reports of battery drain? (Some have reported this feature is the cause.)

After going through all the apps yesterday on my 13 ProMax, the majority of the apps open slower than in beta 3. Big noticeable is the App Store especially when you want to do a manual update.
Apps run fine, just load slower.

Next item, phone calls are not ringing through to my Apple Watch 7 (GPS). Everything else appears to be working. Just an issue with calls.

Will be checking out the iPad Pro 11 2020 today.

Anybody having any success with Hue in HomeKit? Everything looks great in the Hue app but nothing is responding in Home.

I know it has only been 24 hours, but I believe battery life is better on this build compared to the last one on my iphone 13. I'm at 88% after 5 1\2 hours unplugged.

It is a bit early however, I'm ... color me potentially apprehensive.
I have 2hrs SOT and it still is saying 100%.

One the other hand my iPad Pro 11 is burning through battery too fast.

Let's see what tomorrow brings.

Beta testers, please help us regular iPhone users by submitting feedback for the removal of that grey outline around the dynamic island before it actually becomes a thing.
I would actually like it brighter and already submitted they do so. I bought the phone for the larger size and DI. I’m not trying to hide it at all.

It’s not even there all the time, only when active and dimmed. They do need to add a toggle to turn it off. Submitted that too.

👊🙄👍

Anyone have any luck getting today’s final regular season MLB games to shore in Live Activities? If so , what’s the trick? I.e., where is the button you need to push? Screenshots would be appreciated!

I want a refund if they’re putting a border on it. WTF man are they doing!

This doesn’t even make sense why they’re doing this from a design point of view. Why have something so well disguised to now make stand out like high viz.
Likewise the bar at the bottom of iPad screens

If Virgin Media’s your ISP, they’ve had what appear to be DNS-related issues with a number of services for over a week now. Some people saw improvements over the last 24 hours but not all.

If you’re using VM’s default DNS you could try an alternative like Cloudflare. If you’re already using an alternative you could try another or going back to the VM default.
I got that screen as well. After one respring it finally let me in.

I think mine is a tad better too.

5.5 hrs of screen time, 17 hrs unplugged and I’m at 38%

I wish my experience was the same. I’ve reported Safari animations - scrolling between tabs in tab overview and swiping between tabs - being very stuttery, still nothing. I’ve reported that system performance seems to degrade with uptime, mainly the Home bar lagging more and more often the longer the phone is on, making swiping home and switching between apps very annoying. Same with the Airplay popup, once it’s opened in landscape mode, it will be unresponsive in portrait mode until reboot (this one has been there for over 2 months now). And there are more that have been reported a long time ago.
Reported the same thing, I almost thought no one else was having an issue with Safari animations. Also my phone (13 PM) is noticeably slower both on the official build and the betas, most annoying however is that the screen has problems registering my touch sometimes I have to tap multiple times for it to register a press. The screen issue is also affecting a family member’s SE 2020. If Apple thinks I’ll be upgrading my phone after less than a year they’ve lost their mind.

No new watchOS 9.1 Beta yet…
However, downloading iOS 16.1 beta 4 on my 13 Pro. Beta 3 was pretty smooth so far, I’m starting to like iOS 16
I have a 13 PM. Mine is changing settings randomly and not giving audio alerts for texts. Anyone know of fixes for these bugs? Apple is NOT honoring the warranty on my 3 month old phone!
