It's an outline. OMG.

I honestly don’t think there is a difference. I think people on both versions are just starting to notice it.
I agree, from what I'm seeing so far. The front page article from MacRumors a few days ago made it seem like a change in the .1 beta. SMH.

Looks like they're adding more gestures to the DI which I can see the need for an outline, although I hope it's more subtle in the release version.

what about the constant nagging to sign into your iCloud account?
Have had this happen before on other iOS versions. Change your iCloud password and tell it to log out all devices. This will force the generation of new authentication tokens which should resolve that problem. Make sure you have your 2FA backup (like phone number SMS) available to log back in.

Anyone know any apps that can use to live activities with the dynamic island in this beta? I know the TV app is broken, but does anything else use it? I would love to check it out.

If you’re in the CarrotWeather beta it’s available. You have to activate it though to test it out

So what I’m seeing is that 16.1 makes the outline around the DI more noticeable. It’s still there for me in 0.2 but not nearly as intense.

Right. It's very subtle on 16.0.2 but from the images I've seen on 16.1, it's much more pronounced. I do like that it changes colors based on the activity but I wish it was less pronounced and maybe find a middle ground between 16.0.2 and what it is today.

Hopefully we’ll see a few more tweaks before the final release.

Not sure if this was already reported:
The weird wiggle is gone now when you increase or decrease the cover of the lock screen music player.

Did that with the password. No change. This started as soon as OS16 install---never saw it once before.
