Battery
13 ProMax
Battery is okay but not great
Going through about 15% per hour - Phone, Teams, Home Screen are the big users

iPad Pro 11 2020
Battery is pretty poor
After 6hrs 10min I am at 11% - YouTube and Safari are the big users.

Both devices have been a lot better. This is better than B4.

Yikes! That is gobs of battery usage. Phone and Teams?

Just curious how does the clean charging energy option work? and is it safe to turn it off when we update to 16.1

Apple says Clean Energy Charging “aims to decrease the carbon footprint of the iPhone by optimizing charging times for when the grid is using cleaner energy sources.”

And of course it's safe to turn off. Any options in iOS with the on/off switch are safe to do so if you want.

So I had to drive a ICE vehicle with CarPlay, so those asking if CarPlay works on this beta.. seem fine on my 150 mile drive, I used Apple Music,Spotify and Waze with zero issues ..

Chipolo Card Spot is still broken - get "Wallet is left behind" whenever I leave anywhere - even though it's planted firmly in my back, right pocket.
That's 3 beta builds now. (reported to Apple - and update the feedback that it's persisting with each build)
So, I made the mistake of reaching out to their support - just to make sure the dev team was aware....sigh - why? Why do I bother. Several messages - they still don't quite understand that I'm not talking about their Chipolo app. :(

Is Apple ever gonna give us Live Activities back in the TV app? Ridiculous they took it away. I want to keep up with the MLB playoffs today at work, and they still have yet to fix this. A feature they had all over the keynote for the iPhone 14 pros.
I bet there is a big launch with NFL/NBA/NHL around the release of the GM of 16.1. This is a tent pole feature for them and they want to have the big devs on board. One sticking point I realize is that you have to enable it for every game. I want every game for my NBA or NFL team to just have a "live activity" on the Home Screen.

The Lock Screen widget for Alarm is showing status as “No Alarms” even though wake up alarm is configured in Sleep App.

Happens on my phone sometimes on 16.0.2 and 16.0.3. The alarm time on the lockscreen doesn't update sometimes. Sometimes I just need to open the alarm app or sometimes it fixes itself eventually. Rebooting seems to fix it immediately but I don't like to reboot my phone that often.

I get calls on Phone and Calls and messaging via Teams - Teams calls will also include screen share at times.
I generally use my AirPods Pro but will use the speaker for some calls.

Still Phone is not usually a big draw unless you are on it a lot. Meaning 2-3 hours plus.

That very true. Probably want to really launch it when 16.1 is completely official.

Yes I would love it just to start tracking all my favorite teams, and not have to follow every game I want.

From my understanding, the Live Activities only come from the app, so like the MLB app would need to support it. They only allowed the MLB Live Activities for games that were televised by Apple TV+, which is why you probably saw the Live Activities there. For example, when the NBA season starts, it’ll likely be something that has to be supported by the NBA app, and not the Apple TV app, since Apple isn’t streaming any NBA games.
I don't think that's the case. I know I used live activities to follow a Rays game on a Wednesday night so it definitely wasn't televised by Apple TV+.

Carrier version for Globe in the Philippines is now 52.0, has been since beta 4. [This is the first time I've actually logged into macrumors forums (but I've been lurking here since iOS 14 beta 1) so please forgive this noob for not being able to find the edit button for the wikipost. 😅]

I would think with ESPN or whatever app, you would be able to follow a game or follow a team.
