It’s not for me. The Apple TV+ app isn’t even showing play-by-play for this game.

I think play-by-play (like Gameday on the MLB app, I assume) is only for the games broadcast on ATV? I'm not sure. But the CLE/NYY Game 5 is on TBS. No dynamic island live updates for me either.

I spoke too soon - this bug is still there. Oh well, just gotta get used to a messages app that constantly resets to the view showing all the message threads instead of where I last left it.

Oh, for MLB games on ATV+, it's only Friday night games but I'm not sure if that includes the playoffs. I hate the announcers on ATV so if possible, I watch the games on broadcast instead.

Nah. It did it for all games just a month or so ago.

That doesn't make the ATV live scores very useful. I wonder if you have to subscribe to the MLB app to get live scores? Hopefully not.

Actually no, it only came up on 16.1. One other forum poster had the issue too so it does seem to be not only me…could be only a small amount of users effected though - nobody really seems to mention it here.

Generally has it been ok holding onto tabs in safari (16.1 that is ) compared to a 16.0.X?

I’m considering just leaping into it with RC but my 16.0.3 experience has been mostly fine

It’s just football. I’m loving seeing it in action! When goals scored, etc it pops up. Lock Screen looks cool too. Pressing on the Dynamic Island is a nice pop up too.

Well, playoffs are also a whole different thing with different rights. It's also still the beta technically so maybe things change once it's a public release? Who knows. lol. It's all confusing. But I'm enjoying the actual game so far!

The messages bug is the only one I have on 16.1 - pretty flawless otherwise. My bug could even be related to iCloud syncing so I wouldn’t let it put you off…it might be a very limited bug.
Seems like a super release apart from that.

Just as fluid as the last one but manual update in the AppStore seems more instant than the last beta.
Besides that? Not so much.

The battery life seems to be solid as a rock - even the last beta had excellent battery life for me. Phone doesn’t get warm or drain overnight unexpectedly.
After a day of the iPhone indexing your battery life should be good.

Live Activities is working in the RC. Doesn’t seem to be working with the Yankees game in the AppleTV app, but it’s working with third-party apps that are referenced in this overall thread.

if it’s a nightmare I’ll restore to 16.0.3 while it’s still signed. Give myself more of a window to test stuff

Gonna do watchOS 9.1 and tvOS 16.1 RC's as well
