Don’t forget to do a few hard restarts to sort things out on your phone… My 14PM is running great on 16.1 RC .. never minded the DI outline and the battery has been great on these betas after I deleted FB, Instagram and anything to do with them .. ill be one of the few to say very pleased with 16.1 ..

Error 9 was caused by a simple cable problem. Always check your cables when restoring or updating!
 
The swiping up lag was horrible on beta 5 for me on my 14 pro max. It does take time before it builds up. So far so good after 6 hours. I think it’s some sort of memory management issue.
Yes I agree. It always seems to surface by the next morning for me so I’m not getting too excited yet. We’ll see tomorrow.
 
I updated to the beta because I wanted to get a look at this notch ring. Wow, you all are REALLY overblowing it… Here’z the difference. 16.0.3 first, 16.1 RC second. It’s barely, just ever so slightly brighter. It doesn’t stay on constantly like people have been acting like. I’m genuinely confused why so many people are acting like its the end of the world… here, look for yourself.

Having an issue where every time I open the App Store on my phone (14 Pro Max), the panel comes up saying Cannot Connect first instead of usually opening up on the Today tab and allowing me to pull up my account and see if any apps have been updated.
Updated via IPSW on 13PM and saw that my Purchases and Subscriptions changed to my Primary iCloud account. I have an old Apple ID that I use for all purchases and Subscriptions. So use two Apple IDs. I had a hell of a time changing it back so it would use both IDs. Maybe because there was an issue with the App Store on the back end, as you were possibly experiencing? I saw the Cannot Connect several times….
BTW @Pearsey - did the update via IPSW. Ugh, betas are always fun!!

I've had that happen a while back during iOS 14 or 15. It wasn't hard to change it back but I didn't discover it for a long time until I needed to restore a purchase so had to add myself to my family sharing plan to share the app.

I hate that Apple can't merge the 2 accounts into a single one. So stupid.
 
only had for a few hours but seems smooth so far on 14PM.

Will continue monitor and have a better feel in a couple days.

Didn't try any of the 16.1 PB's.

Messages app and screenshots are definitely feeling 'snappier' too. Not just Safari 😛
 
If you have any other apple devices make sure it’s off on there too. I noticed I had that option checked on my MacBook so it for some reason would show up on my iPhone even though I had it off on my iPhone

Thank you- i did check that. It was fine until I was showing a friend how to activate it and then I deactivated and it still shows up when people text me.
 
I cannot find the Wallet app anywhere on my device. When I go to the App Store and search for it, it says “OPEN” and not the little cloud for downloading an app you previously had.

When I click open, the app opens on my phone…I can see it is the Wallet app when I bring up the app switcher. But the app isn’t anywhere. How is that possible?

The Wallet app is probably accidentally removed from the Home Screen, however, still exists in the App Library. The App Library is the last Home Screen on your iPhone when you continue to SWIPE LEFT until you reach it. Once you are in the App Library, then you can search and find the Wallet app. Once found, then you can DRAG the app out of there and place it on your favorite spot of the Home Screen.

I think play-by-play (like Gameday on the MLB app, I assume) is only for the games broadcast on ATV? I'm not sure. But the CLE/NYY Game 5 is on TBS. No dynamic island live updates for me either.

I would hope this is not the case. Would be relatively useless. I would think it’s something in the mlb app.

Reminds me of the good old days when people thought they needed to “close apps” all the time because obviously Apple’s software engineers didn’t know how to properly do memory management. (End sarcasm)

your electricity provider can give you information about the "mix" of electricity sources over the day. E.g. in germany the electricity mix around noon is mostly based on renewable energy sources; in the evening hours of higher demand the percentage of non-renewable sources in the mix increases.

This feature allows basically for congruent charging.

Your electricity supplier should be able to provide the needed information.
