I keep getting a software update failed error when I try to update to Public Beta 16.2 v3 on my iPad Pro. Any thoughts?

I haven't been on the beta train for .1 and .2, but a couple questions for the group - any issues/improvements around homekit and carplay? I would like to update to see if my carplay issues can be resolved, but I wanted to make sure there were no major bugs.

Something new :(
13 Promax

In games I am seeing intermittent frame drop or skips
Heckfire
FF9
CarX Rally

Not seeing it in basic games
MotherOfAllBattles
Freecell
Infinite TD

Going to do a bit more checking before I report.
This is a widespread bug affecting all kinds of devices. It was introduced in iOS 16, and people who game are raging over this. I even experience it in the Hit the Island game, however it’s only dropping frames when touch input is provided as long as I stop touching the display, the framedrops disappear. Is it the same in your case?

That must be the first time they release such a thing. Interestingly enough, you can remove it after having it installed. I don't see the sense of being able to remove/uninstall a security update.

Yeah head scratcher that one. Why remove something that’s suppose to protect your phone.

So is it safe to say the swipe up stutter is fixed?
Not swipe up to force close apps in the multitasking via. Still stutters occasionally.

For some reason I was thinking “rapid security response updates” were pushed automatically and that there was no option to force it immediately.

Still not seeing it on my 14 PM... running 16.2 B3 but I do NOT have the beta profile installed. I have only been installing betas via ipsw's for a bit.

I have this option turned on... I wonder if It just installed on me but I don't see the option to remove it if it did.
