16.3.1 bricked yours, too?! Jeez, absolutely crazy, especially for a public release. I am sorry for my tone in the last thread; usually IPSWs give me zero trouble so I was just caught blindsided and distraught. Also heavy beta withdrawals, clearly out of my element.

Installing the 16.4 IPSW on my 13 mini worked beautifully last night.

I’m not sure about the whole stand-alone gets greater speeds. I have T-Mobile and tested both On and Off. My results are better off. Looking at Field Test with it on and off, there was no difference in the stats and either way it still said NR NSA.

Did anyone set up Advanced Data Protection? If so, how did you do it recovery key? What do you think is the best way?

There only is one way of doing the recovery key by following the prompts, unless I’m missing something.

I’ve saved a copy of the key in a Keepass database, on a device which is secure but which I can’t get locked out. Multiple copies and locations of course. No keeping in the Notes app though.

With the new lock screen shortcut I was hoping to be able to stop it turning off the screen but it does not do that.

I have mine set to turn off after two minutes which is great most of the time but when I am playing music through my HomePods I would like the screen to stay on.

Anyone know of a way to do this?

I think also your phones pretty safe after setting this all up with its end to end device encryption. Just don’t go giving your phone to any body and make sure Face ID turned on.

In 16.3.1, the battery, time, signal strength etc are white when the background is dark, and black when the background is white or a light color.

Compare my screenshot to yours.

OK, so, does anyone with a 13 pro have the beta installed? I’m wondering if the 5G SA is only available on the 14 and up. Thanks in advance
 
Been running this on my 13PM and left 3.1 on my iPad.

Face ID face is fatter (bolded)
Had Google Maps and Safari screen freeze for a few seconds.
Click a link in Safari and this is an example of an error I get (see attached). Most sites in Safari work fine. On Edge in Android works just fine.
Battery is a bit soon but looks unchanged
Some apps run slow. PDF Expert, Heckfire, FreeCell, Some Safari sites, are the main ones that jump out
WiFi is still not fast like it should be. Maxing out at 200MB down on a 1GB system. Been seeing that issue since .3

So far nothing major jumps out. It is a beta.
