Seen some weird Safari stuff in this beta…

I did, and the website still wouldn’t scroll for me. It loads fine, but attempting to scroll gives me that error.
When scrolling or pressing the menu icon, it crashes on my iPhone also. However, the site works fine on Safari MacOS on 13.3b.

Running into this issue now….
When hooking up AirPods Pro, one of the APP battery indicator is missing.
Plays just fine - just the battery indicator.

Interestingly I have a public bets profile, public bets installed. I do have a developer account but only the free version.

I seem to have the option to choose developer or public beta.

I’ll stick with public for now

Pretty excellent battery life and performance as far as I can tell so far with an IPSW install of this beta on 13 mini. There seems to have been a fresh coat of attention to detail applied across the system with 16.4; I know the changes might seem tiny on the surface or that they underwhelm as a list of bullet points but the generally strong vibe of refinement I’m getting helps explain some of the delay. This is a Good™ beta ;), and didn’t soft-brick my device like 16.3.1—a public, point-point release, I’ll have Timothy know—did.

I know things can get negative around here…trust me, I’m quick to start complaining about how buggy and awful iOS has been lately…but I just wanted to share a quick anecdote…

I haven’t been on the beta train since last year, when the iOS 16 beta was released at WWDC. My general policy was that I’d stay off the beta train until June, and then hop on for the major releases.

Well, lately I’ve been so annoyed with the AOD bug and a few Apple Music bugs that I pulled the plug and hopped back on the beta train for iOS 16.4

Initially, I was really bummed and annoyed to see that so many of the iOS 16, 16.2, 16.3 etc bugs STILL remained in 16.4, but…

…I opened the Feedback app today, and looked back at all the different open tickets that I’ve had over the last year or two…and I was shocked to discover that some of the bugs that I’d probably reported 20+ times were finally fixed and I didn’t even realize it.

Granted, they were relatively minor bugs that I didn’t encounter in my day to day usage…but they were still pretty glaring bugs that I just got tired of reporting and eventually gave up on.

Happy to say that, this afternoon, I was able to close at least ten different tickets that have finally been resolved. So, for what it’s worth, keep reporting these bugs and glitches. They may not get patched as soon as we’d like…but they just might get fixed at some point, and it’s better late late than never!

I am having the same issue with Reddit. No scroll. I don’t get an error, it just won’t scroll.

I’m sure you do because both beta versions are identical. But if you selected the Developer beta option and are not signed in with a developer account, nothing will happen (theoretically) when the next developer beta drops. I’m reasonably, though not 100%, certain that a free developer account will not be enough.

Now all emails on my iPhone display as “This is a multi-part message in MIME format” followed by code. Yuck. Any ideas???

Sounds like a bug. I’d report it.

If you can’t use your email at all, I’d try reinstalling iOS or reverting back to 16.3.1.

Has anyone else experienced this bug when attaching photos/videos on iMessage?

Yes, I did all day yesterday. it’s such an annoying bug. Surprise, it also exists on iOS 16.3.1. I’m going to restart my iPhone today and see if that fixes the issue.

Can anyone update place names in Apple Maps under My Guide and My Places? Every time I try to edit a name like Dropped Pin to Costco, it doesn’t save. It doesn’t save any of these. I can’t delete them either. 🤷🏼‍♂️

But did anyone apart from you actually look at them? I bet they were still in status "open" which probably means that the fixes they made had nothing to do with your logged issues. At least, that's my experience with mine. Plus they typically stay in "None" others have reported it, even if it hits the front page of this site.
