My battery is not feeling so well with this update, and my battery is down to 96%.

Let’s go buy a new iPhone 14 Pro Max 1TB 🫨

That’s the only way I can think of to get it back to 100% safely. 🪼

Dang! this makes me very sad. You really need to level up and start using Apple 5W Charger. Slow charge your iPhone. By any chance, are you relying on wireless charging or annoying MagSafe charging?

In addition, just checked Apple.com for the 5W charger and it's not available. Dang it😡. And, no I don't want it from Amazon. What are we doing to do now?

Yes I do need to start using a 5w charger, I think I found one just the other day too, I’ll have to find it.

I do have a MagSafe charger but I infrequently use it because I was fearful it would harm my battery, now I only use it when my phone is wet after a washing.

Wouldn’t buy one from Amazon either, I will find my old one somewhere around here!

Thank you for your reply. It's been saying that for a few days now or even longer. I'm not sure why it keeps syncing. I hope to God this is not draining the battery life.

Another thing I noticed the total photos count doesn't match up with what the photos app is showing.

I tried to turn off iCloud Photos and it’s not even letting me turn it off. It can no longer be turned off. I tried under the Photos App as well as iCloud. Both failed 😞 the annoying problem stays and I'm not sure what to do anymore. I hope this is not a problem I have to live with. 👎

I need a 2TB iPhone. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Yup it feels less buggy than 16.4 beta 1 though

Apple Maps a bit laggy as it opens. Had a grey screen for a few seconds first open. Hard restart sort of fixed it. But it doesn’t seem right.

Will reinstall the app and then iOS.

Will report back.

EDIT: offloaded the app and reinstalled. All good now 👍🏼

That sucks I hope it resolves itself soon. ☹️ 🙏 weird how it straight up refused to turn off iCloud Photos. 16.5 bug or maybe a server hiccup.

I installed beta profile sometime back and phone was rebooted after that. When I checked for updates, it prompted me to install 16.4 and I installed. I didn't understand what was changed as I was already on 16.4 before the installation.

How can I install 16.5?

Often the case. The first 16.5 beta was likely forked from a release prior to the public 16.4 one.

You know we need to call that guy who you have in the photo. Let’s ask him for help, because he has people who can give it. I will remind him that you are a great Apple fan and that they should remember to always give you the help you need.
