Glad I’m staying on iOS 15.7.1.
This is a screenshot from a beta. What did you expect?Glad I’m staying on iOS 15.7.1.
I might skip iOS 16 altogether if there’s still bugs like this
5w charging overnight,5w charging always ?
my 13 pro is 90% after a bit over a year, i used to only 5w but don’t have time for it anymore that often

Where's public beta?My 13 ProMax is at 96% and I have never used 5w. I've always plugged into hi watt or used a 30w+ wireless.
Never used MagSafe either. Had this device since launch.
do you keep charge between 20-80% or just empty/full?My 13 ProMax is at 96% and I have never used 5w. I've always plugged into hi watt or used a 30w+ wireless.

It's been through every beta since launch.
the amount of buggy photos of the actual public releases has been insane. buggiest release in a longgg time from what i can tell. there’ve been a bunch of MR posts about it too. the UI bugs especially. This is a screenshot from a beta. What did you expect?

i don’t use wireless charging it’s normally an apple fast charge or connect to my ps5 usb-c. i try to keep between 20-80% but busy life.
if it’s low i’ll put it on the 5w overnight
The thought of skipping a whole year of security updates because of some visual glitches is hilarious to me.the amount of buggy photos of the actual public releases has been insane. buggiest release in a longgg time from what i can tell. there’ve been a bunch of MR posts about it too. the UI bugs especially.
i’d have thought they’d fixed them by now. home screen bugs normally get fixed in the .1 or .2 updates
okay, i would rather a working and reliable device the way i paid for it to work originally instead of internationally making it worse due to rushed softwareThe thought of skipping a whole year of security updates because of some visual glitches is hilarious to me.
maybe my health has dropped a fair bit since i can’t always plug in before 20% and sometimes i’ll let it run right down.I usually charge it overnight on either the 30W or 50W wireless.
It is usually between 30% - 50% when I charge it and I charge to 100%. That's daily most cases.
It is my work phone and gets quite a bit of use especially M-F
I have Optimized and Clean Energy turned off.
I don't use wired charging that often unless I'm traveling. It is the only non-USB C device I have.
Why don’t you go back and look at the threads regarding bugs in iOS 15? Seriously. It’s the same thing every year: people making mountains out of mole hills (little visual glitches).okay, i would rather a working and reliable device the way i paid for it to work originally instead of internationally making it worse due to rushed software

You’re being ridiculous staying on iOS 15. It had its own bugs that lasted the whole cycle (and into iOS 16) and you’re putting your data at risk by skipping all of the security updates that have been included in the (buggy) iOS 16 updates.
Update your phone. It’s not as bad as you’re perceiving.
Apple said aw shid we better make sure gwhizkids and @TheYayAreaLiving 🎗 stay at 100% battery health so they keep giving us good press 😹😹🤨Still 100% here. Day 1 14 PM. Almost always charge on a mag safe charger.

Oh my gosh…I feel like I haven’t seen you around here in forever! Nice to hear from you, and agreedHaven’t they fixed the security flaws with patches to 15?
I for one have been on 16 since launch day and I regret it even now. Performance just isn’t as good, the experience feels disjointed and clunky, and the gestures for app switching and multitasking are less accurate than the previous eternity of iOS releases. Not to mention the UX disaster known as changing wallpapers.
iOS 16 is an awkward pile and a far cry from “it just works.” 15 is a solid OS.
…And you’re on a 13 Pro? My 13 mini runs iOS 16(.5) pretty swimmingly but to be fair I could be desensitized as I’ve been running it since dev beta 1. Granted iOS 16.5 doesn’t have the polish of 16.4 yet in my humble experience but that should kind of be expected as it’s an initial point-release beta.Glad I’m staying on iOS 15.7.1.

Only on devices that don't support iOS 16. On devices that support 16 the iOS 15 security patches are unavailable.Haven’t they fixed the security flaws with patches to 15?
