I only use Magsafe and my 14 PM is still at 100% capacity (Day 1 purchase)
I’ve also got an iPhone 14 PM day 1 purchase, and charge with both MagSafe and with a cable- not babying it or trying to do anything special. Still at 100%

Guys, I've just updated to the latest iOS 16.5 beta and all of a sudden when I go to play my music every song says "this song is not currently available in your country or region".

I'm in the UK. I've not changed any settings. I've check that my region is correct.

Has anyone else seen this?

I’m on 16.4 and the weather app is not working randomly. So i suppose it’s not a bug it’s a system problem
I had problem with weather widget on 16.4 b1 but since then it was ok in all betas and RC as well. But that was widget not working, this problem is different, as the weather app won’t get weather data. Anyway you may be right as I see on the system status page, issues reported for weather service.

Had issues with the weather app drawing/rendering precipitation on the map. Seems some areas are rendered and others not. I can sometimes get them to render correctly by pinching to zoom. This has been happening for a couple of months now on both beta and release versions of iOS.

Maybe their backend servers are being somewhat unreliable…..

Same. Well few weeks after release but charge when it hits red. And then unplug at 100%. Normally has a top up in CarPlay, and still at 100%

I tell you what else is good now is system data is low. They seem to have sized that bug. 16, 16.1 was around 15gigs… 5.34gigs and stable.

Lol. So it *seems* like not babying your phone and using a wireless charger is the best way to prolong battery life.

Who knew!!

Personally, personally… from experience with over night charging on my 12 was hammering the health.

Since not going into the red and stopped over night charging with optimised charging because CarPlay screws that up anyway… the new battery on my 12 health was great and same to be said for my 14P to date.

So yeah, not 👶🏼 the 🔋 and charge it when you need it.

Do you think I should put the iOS 16.5 beta 1 beta on my iPhone or just leave iOS 16.4 on?
I’d stay on 16.4 for the time being - you’re not really missing out much this late into the 16.X cycle
Agreed with @ajay96 I would stay on iOS 16.4 for now and wait till beta 2-3 is released. Honestly, you are not missing out much. You are already benefitting from the ground-breaking features of iOS 16.4.
