How long does it last a full day ?I know it's to be expected with a beta 1, but battery life is rough lol. I'll permanently be on low power mode until at least b2.

Photos syncing its been like this a couple of days now. Was all working fine. Server side maybe.
Pause it. Close it. Turn airplane Mode on/off open photos. It should restart. Sometimes it gets hung on cellular.but I found it is uploading; you just don’t know it.View attachment 2018939

I am on iOS 16 beta on an iPhone 13 with an eSIM and I‘ve read the comments that iOS 16 Beta could be more buggy.
If I were to restore back to 15.5 would the eSIM survive or would I have to get a new QR code?
They're for last years' release trackdid anyone else get emails about a new ios and macos builds today? And yet, they're nowhere to be found on the developers site or in software updates.
That’s not how it’s designed.
Any update involves an integrity check to make sure the right file has been downloaded from Apple’s servers and as Craig responded, there’ll be a cryptographic signature check to ensure everything went well.
OTA is done using small files that’ll either be added or replaced as a whole and not by individual lines of code.
I’m still not totally convinced that IPSW is a better way to update for two reasons.
1. There’s no way to OTA a second time in case of an issue.
2. No one’s tested OTA vs IPSW on two identical devices with similar setup and posted their results.
Keep us posted when you get a chance to test out scenario #2.1. You could down grade to 15.5 and then update again to 16 B1 over OTA and see if you can replicate that bug again. Is a potential way to get that OTA update again.
2. This is my goal one day. To have two identical phones with set ups. One I’d update via OTA and one only IPSW files… then theres no room for any discrepancy.
Potentially getting my old XR back from mum, which would then mean I could buy a cheap 2nd hand one to do exactly this.
Keep us posted when you get a chance to test out scenario #2.
I’m still on the beta cycle for 15.6. Skipping the 16 till public release as I’m getting tired of setting up all the cards in Apple Pay every time I had to reset.
This time around, I updated with OTA and didn't reset the phone. All my cards were unusually stable, no re-establishing was needfulI’m still on the beta cycle for 15.6. Skipping the 16 till public release as I’m getting tired of setting up all the cards in Apple Pay every time I had to reset.
I'd say it wouldn't last the full day. I've been charging it during the day. I'll try going a full day without charging it tomorrow and see what happens, MagSafe battery pack will be on standby. How long does it last a full day ?

It works for me.Curious to know if anyone has been able to have universal control working on their iPad in this beta? Current Setup MBP M1 Pro + iPad Pro M1.
Was using on iOS 15, but appreciate this is a beta.
eSIM would survive, remember not to delete existing mobile data plans when reset or installation happens. I have done several times and never lost eSIM Mobile plan.I am on iOS 16 beta on an iPhone 13 with an eSIM and I‘ve read the comments that iOS 16 Beta could be more buggy.

Can someone update me with Microsoft teams for iPhone X
I know there was a recent update with teams.
In my case, the location has nothing to do with it, because the widgets have never had permission to use it, and the app only when I open it, and I practically never open it.I had bad drain with the weather widget until I disabled location services for the weather app. This stops the app/widget from constantly polling GPS data, but also prevents you from getting weather notifications from your "current" location. I took a compromise and saved a few primary locations.
I don't travel a whole lot but can easily add in a location if I do. 🤷♂️
