When we swipe down the Notification Centre while any app is open, the Notification Centre remains transparent and shows the app behind till the moment the Notification Centre touches the screen bottom.
Is it expected behaviour
That happened to me until my first reboot. Now, it gradually loses transparency as it slides down.

I have about 95% opacity, so I expect that this is designed behavior.

Edit: in reading the other posts, mine is doing the same thing: becoming more opaque the further down you slide. It becomes 100% opaque at about the first row of the on-screen keyboard. Nice effect, actually.

Yeah I’ve noticed that too, I pretty much exclusively play downloaded songs rather than streaming them and that is where I’m having most of not all of my crashes.
only started happening to me yesterday with one song yesterday after 3 weeks in b1 and b2 so it’s strange.

Came across a bug in the Lock Screen widget shows wrong weather on Lock Screen when in different country. (i.e sunny or rainy) was showing rainy yet it was sunny where I’m at. Deleted widget and added it back in and now it shows sunny.

I would also go into the Weather app and use the “report an issue” button. I suspect that’s what it’s there for.

Have anyone’s notifications now started to “collapse” down into a little message “• 3 Notifications” between the flashlight and camera buttons on the Lock Screen?

It used to be a stack of the normal rectangles, now it’s a tiny message.

I’m trying to see what triggers that.

You can pinch the notifications and they will collapse into a count. You can also change in the notifications section of the settings app.

I think it also relates to whether you’ve elected to show them as a list or a stack or as previews or not.

I didn’t read that gigantic list up above, but I’ve recently noticed that there’s random haptic feedback when you swipe up to go to the home screen. Anybody else?
Yes, I notice that quite frequently. I also get hit and miss haptic feed back 2 times in a row after clearing a notification. Been present since beta 1. iPhone 13 Pro Max. Try submitting feedback as well to see if maybe it’s a bug or new feature

Battery Took the weather widgets off my lockscreen for a few days.
Man the battery life improved.
Really impressed with B2s battery performance, without widgets.
And its kinda fine with actually on my 12. Just noticeable without.

I have been getting phenomenal battery life on my 13PM.
Mine has gotten SIGNIFICANTLY better over the past few days. Beta 2 started off better than beta 1 by a long shot, but it's improved even more. On top of that, Optimized Charging finally started working for me again. Didn't work at all on beta 1.

With such good battery management I hope they don't start getting sloppy with it.
Tech: "aahhhh, it's just 30 minutes. What's the issue?"
Tech2: "but they will notice on MR!"
Tech: "ooohhhhhh!"

Turned off cellular data for Photos syncing on my 13 mini and battery life has been excellent.

On a somewhat-unrelated (but beta-related) note it is still impossible to connect via AirPlay to control HomePod (version 16) playback with my Apple Watch (watchOS 9) across these betas, an issue lingering from beta(s) 1. Also the HomePod plays compatible tracks in Atmos even with the option disabled in the Home app (sounds like **** honestly ).

I am not seeing stages of sleep timings under REM, Core etc. do I have to activate anything to get those ?

This was an semi-interesting read.
I tried to find some of these but … did find a couple.
Looks like this person tried to consolidate bugs from several lists.

Omg. Finally someone else discussing iMessage videos getting sent in low quality. 720p or less. This persons explanation is perfect and I also went through the same motions contacting Apple and my ISP many times with follow ups. Very sad this is still happening in ios16.

I‘m fairly certain 720p is not a bug but Apple downgrading videos on purpose, like they do with shared photo albums.

Too right. I hope they look on here because its packed with juicy real world honesty, where they can better the software and as a company.

If it were just 720p then that might be acceptable but typically is a pixelated mess. As the Reddit poster mentioned and as I was told by Apple, they don’t know why this happens. I worked with them for a very long time having long phone calls sending all sorts of data. Eventually I just gave up. Example: my friend will send me video and it comes through not pixilated, super crisp and clear as if I took the video myself and were watching it in photos. As opposed to when I send a friend a video, it looks like garage when they view it.

I’m guessing you don’t have “Low Quality Images” turned on at the bottom of the Messages section of Settings?

Do you have the beta on both your Watch and iPhone?
I noticed it took maybe a night or two to finally start showing results.
How long have you had the beta installed?
