Ah! I’ve been running Federico Viticci’s space pic of the day wallpaper shortcut automation that fetches NASA’s pic of the day. It hasn’t been working since iOS 16 came out but must still be grabbing the pictures every morning anyway.

Is anyone else having charging issues (wireless) with this beta? iPhone 13 Pro Max, it’s always “charging but after 16 hours it gets to 70% or 90%. Works fine plugged in….

Hey Siri stopped working in CarPlay for me during last build and it’s been working on this one. Also, CarPlay in general seems faster and less likely to freeze up. Digging the new sound too.
Also, when in Music (not on CarPlay, just in iPhone), is it a new feature where if you have spatial audio turned off, it automatically turns on for songs mastered in Dolby ATMOS? Not gonna lie, I love this. I think spatial sounds weird with non-ATMOS songs, and hated having to constantly switch it, so I leave it off, but now it turns on for me, when needed.

By default spatial audio will only activate for Atmos encoded songs, unless you activated spatialise stereo. This isn’t new to iOS 16.

Took two days to get the clownfish. All that sadness and seemingly frustrated anticipation-- And then it's so disappointing. I thought the dang fish would move. Deleted. I'm crushed.
I really hope this is a bug/oversight and it’s possible to completely turn off Atmos playback as before. It’s obnoxious having to avoid Atmos-compatible tracks just to get maximum enjoyment out of my HomePods.
My iPad Pro 11 2020 has been on 16 since day one. For the most part it has been decent. Delayed moving it on my 13 ProMax as a couple of apps were not working on 16. Yesterday with no app or OS updates they started working. Big two for me are Teams and Kingdom of Heckfire. Work and Play.
Loaded 16 b3 on my 13 ProMax via ipsw. Clownfish was there at launch.

- Animations are heavier
- Lockscreen fonts all suck
- If we have space for four LS widgets why can you only place three?
- That search icon(?) above the dock is a pita
- Bottom up notifications on lockscreen would be better top down IMO
- If you remove one notification it collapses instead of staying open - pita
- Airdrop will randomly stop working and requires a hard reboot
- If I use search for Airdrop it drops me into Settings > Sound
- Figured wallpapers out - what a fubar’d mess
- Camera focus is jerky at times

Agreed. I know some incredible fonts. Where they got these boot fair bargain basement typefaces from I do not know.
Apple widgets are pretty bad. Was really hoping they would have improved with this update. But one of my biggest gripes is why do we have to have the widget title under the widget. I have a weather widget by Fuji that the dev obviously spent a lot of time on. Totally customizable as to font colors and weather icons including background. Then apple has to ruin it by forcing the title underneath in white font. Apple! I know what it is. I don’t need the damn title! Messes up a beautiful home screen. I know most everyone here is fully immersed with their iPhones on a daily basis, but, geewhiz, I need to go back to android once in a while, for my widget love, I wish Apple would take some lessons from those developers.
And don’t get me started about the top notification bar. Sure wish for an option to make it optional or appear with a pull down.

I was playing Heckfire on my 13PM. I had to go do something so I just locked my device.
Went back later and saw LS notifications which I expanded. I clicked on the notification which opened up in Safari, however I had the upper corner link to Heckfire showing up. Kind of a poor mans version of Android swipe.
Also finding that even if there are no notifications on the LS, I can still swipe up and it will pull old notifications. Unless you have cleared or read them

Anyone else still having major issues with the mail app? It is "better" than in B1/B2 but still far from great.

I do still have major issues like for example taking ages to load email contents regardless of the network status . I'm not even on beta! I'm on iOS 15.5
How the frak do the wallpaper settings work? It is such a mess. I am trying to change the Home Screen wallpaper ONLY but when I click "adjust" on the HOME SCREEN button, it suddenly adds a NEW wallpaper to a NEW LOCKSCREEN?!? and then suddenly changes the wallpaper on the Lockscreen and the Home Screen.
I want to change the pride wallpaper on my lockscreen to my dog but want to keep the Home Screen wallpaper as it it. However, when I tap on add new wallpaper to LOCKSCREEN, it opens the „lockscreen“ setting but adds it to the Home Screen??
