iOS 16 Beta 3 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

I would offer another suggestions to those who are updating to iOS 16: if you're experiencing bugs that are not documented in this thread or on the release notes, trying doing a Reset All Settings to see if it resolves. This will not lead to data loss, but you will have to set up your notifications and other settings.

I have not noticed any difference in performance, still very smooth and quick. I also have not had an issue having to reset Face ID for various apps. However, YMMV.
Changing home screen wallpaper is still a cluster F. Photos work but Geezus what a hassle.

Charging with the MagSafe Battery Pack still seems screwy. I’ve seen my phone battery increase by approximately one percentage point since I popped the (fully-charged) pack on half an hour ago. :(

Sent a group text earlier today prior to downloading and installing the new revision and no one received it. I heard there were texting issues. I guess this must be one of them. regular one on one texting works fine.
Wow, just noticed how badly speech to text is not working properly. Seems to double up what I dictate. I didn’t have that problem before todays update.
 
Weather and Weather Widget

Was looking at the WW on both the iPad and iPhone. Says a nice 69F and Mostly Sunny.
It’s actually 69F and overcast. I reported an issue also reported via Feedback.
Weather and screenshot off my patio. With B3 the weather conditions seem to be hit/miss.

Example: Messages
I have badges and Notification Center turned on for this only and it is paired with my AW7 for messages.
With this update I now have this showing up on my Lockscreen and is missing from my AW.

Having this same issue with a number of other apps also.

WhatsApp notifications stopped working properly for me a few days ago (they would show up in the notifications list but not buzz my phone or watch). Reviewed all global and app level notifications and focus settings and could not make them work properly. Ended up nothing short of a Reset All Settings would bring them back. A bit painful but not the end of the world. My feeling is it may have been a bug/corruption of focus settings but I’m not sure.
 
Anyone have trouble or getting the PB to install today? I get all the way through the process and then it stops with the loading bar almost to the very end and the nothing.
