Thanks mate. Thankfully I haven’t yet installed iOS 16. I’ve only installed the iOS 16 profile.
so do I just update the iOS 15 profile in order to continue to receive iOS 15 updates?
Huh, installing a profile on your phone won’t effect an app from working. It’s just a certificate that talks to Apple to authorise the installation of certain softwares.
Delete the iOS 16 profile from settings and then Install the iOS 15 profile.
Bit drastic, as it doesn’t need a restore, just delete the profile and install the iOS 15 one.
Just delete the iOS 16 profile and there’s no need to install anything else (unless you want whatever iOS 15 betas may remain).

Three times now in the last few days I have had all calls fail on this device.
A hard reboot fixes the issue but only apparently temporarily.
Standard SIM - no eSIM.
I do have WiFi calling on.

That is a word I am not familiar with so I tried to use translate in Safari - fail - see attachment.

Call Blocking - Hiya and others
When I get an iMessage/SMS/MMS and I want to use the “Report Message” feature the pop up menu that appears to allow you to select the type of issue - tied to my Hiya app - opens then immediately closes (see attached - message is fake). It isn’t the only app I am seeing this on though. Apple changed something. I reached out to Hiya and they said since 15.4 Apple has been change core functionality especially with call forwarding that is impacting apps with these features. They are working with Apple looking for a solution. Apple also has changed the functionality for neighborhood call blocking and has limited how effective this feature is.

Reread my post - I updated it with info from Hiya.
No issues using esim on Verizon. I have had a better experience with esim since getting the 13 pro max. Apple employees have even told me that the 13 series work better with esim.
My 12 thought for a few days it had multiple sims, even though I’m old school and have a physical present.
Multiple hard restarts and removing the sim a few times made it realise it didn’t.
Somethings not right there for sho.
