PIP works for me but just not when simply going back to Home Screen. If I have YouTube open; I have to drag an app onto the screen and if I make it full screen it shows up. I tried both YouTube and Directtv

Works fine for me. I play a video and just swipe to the Home Screen and it continues to play. YouTube Premium user

Still encountering the occasional glitch where lock screen notifications briefly turn into rectangles with hard corners vs rounded corners. That bug has been around for a while.

Still encountering a lot of glitches, actually. Surprised this is an ‘A’ build.

Wow. Thought that one was fixed for this week. Odd.

I noticed on (iOS) beta 6 last night that YouTube videos—playing via Safari—no longer play in PiP when swiping back to home screen. Perhaps YouTube just went back to preventing PiP for non-premium users and it’s not totally Apple’s issue. I’ll see later tonight when I get off of work and try watching something on Hulu with the iPad.

Now it‘s working on my iPad as well. After installing the Beta the PiP Video didn‘t show up when i returned dirctly to the Homescreen 🤷🏼‍♂️.

I just went from 15.6.1 to DB7. Animations definitely feel much smoother even though I didn’t think they were ‘not smooth’ previously. Something is definitely improved here.
PB3 before had more small animations issues. A lot of them were fixed with PB4 (DB7).
Really looking forward to the final version. iPhone 13 Pro definitely feels fügtet refined with iOS16.
Battery life could be better.

In case anyone encounters either of these issues which happened on my iPad Pro. First I noticed that I could not select an email from the list, tapping a message elicited no response, with some it would briefly turn to a blue highlight but then would revert immediately to grey. Force quitting Mail fixed that.

The next issue I ran into was predictive text did not appear on any site in Safari. It did when starting an email or a message, or note, but nothing in Safari. I went ahead and restarted the the ipad and that fixed The issue.

Still no keyboard haptics. And what is extra weird is the haptics when I toggle the setting now are much weaker than they were in previous betas
