I just hope whenever the 16.1 beta drops it has the live activities thing and we don't have to wait for 16.2 for that.

But doesn’t iOS 16.1 beta 2 need to drop for iPad this week, as we are in their second week? So we’d get it, no?

I really don’t know on that one. It stands to reason that they will want the betas in sync but whether that’s really true and how they’ll achieve it is a mystery to me.

I was just about to restore as new on iOS 16, but I just remember we're probably going to get a new beta today.

I'll restore and then update to 16.1 beta from that. It might even be 16.2 beta for iPhone and 16.1 for iPad, that wouldn't surprise me.

I highly doubt they will jump a whole increment though to 16.2 for iPhone.

As then the sync between iPhone and iPad is well off.

Unless you meant ios16.1 beta 2 for iPhone which would bring it inline with the iPads next release.

I meant iOS 16.2. For a couple of the missing iOS 16 features. I realize that would make things messy though.

The next iPadOS 16.1 Developer Beta is out
