It must be Beta 2 for iPadOS 16.1. Beta 1 was already released for iPadOS 16.1.

Well then. I will admit when I am wrong and I was wrong. This is very anti-Apple to have a revised Beta 1 for iPad.

I’d give you points on this one. I suspect they just called it beta 1 again just to line it up with the phone.

Meanwhile, in warehouses around the world, they are about to put phones in planes and trucks. So we can all join the beta!
For beta 1? More likely tomorrow or even next Monday. Doubtful to be Friday.
I wonder since we got a beta last Friday, and with all the other software and hardware things happening this week if they will re-align to next Tues or Wed?
More than likely. I’d actually forgotten which day last week we got Ventura. I would imagine things are pretty crazy at Apple OS HQ with the off kilter nature of these releases this year. Serves them right for getting off the tried and true every 2nd Tuesday releases!
