Calling 16.0.2 this week. So many issues on the new phones.
That'll definitely come very quickly. I'm hoping we get iOS 16.1 beta 2 a bit sooner also, to fix some of the major issues on the iPhone 14s.

16.0.2 today would be nice! Apple should of been working all hours to fix the issues. Never known a launch with so many major issues.

I’m having no issues at all.
Your GPS is working like normal ?? Mine is bad.. I show to be on a side road instead of being on the freeway I have to go about a mile or so then it corrects itself , and if I change lanes closer to said side road it will put me on that side road again.. I have hard reset my phone 3 times now.. I may just wipe and start over if 16.0.2 is not coming soon

Well, FWIW, a wipe and starting new is leaving me with all of my same issues, including the one you mentioned here.

Weird how some folks can have the worst experience and some no problems at all. But here we are...

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm still cruising along on the 16.1 beta with now issues other than my occasional app library positioning bug.

Looking forward to the beta that adds live sports scores to the screen. Not that I follow a lot of sports, but would be nice when I'm watching one football game on Saturday to see some other scores from teams playing at the same time.

Kind of expecting a 16.1.1 this week to address the GPS issue since I'm not sure, even as a beta, Apple can wait on that one.

For those of us that don’t install betas, how likely do we think it is that Apple will release an official update this week?

I didn’t update to 16.1 b1. The other poster is making reference to a bad hardware release. I think it’s just a rough first beta of a new software release.

I was kind of confused by his response...saying that he is having a GPS issue on 16.0??

As far as I know, GPS issue is limited to iP14's only, and only those on the 16.1 betas, correct?

btw...not experiencing any of those issues on my 14 Pro Max on 16.1...

Yeah that’s my understanding reading.

Well, for me. iPadOS 16.1 (latest beta) has been really buggy… it has me curious as to whether they will make the deadline for the official release. I completely understand the logic… it’s a beta and bugs are to be expected. But I think when Stage Manager gets released to the public… it needs to be solid, first impression are important.

I’m getting a lot freezing and resprings which has been odd because the last previous betas… I didn’t get it as frequent. Perhaps when M2 iPad Pro… Stage Manager runs butterfly smooth, I’m really hoping thats the case. I absolutely enjoy using Stage Manager on the iPad itself and on an external display. I’m just hoping it actually takes off.
