Today is our last day with a “stable” OS for months. Time to jump on that iOS 16 Beta train! Let’s hope this journey isn’t too bumpy and most of our important apps still function.

I have a suspicion that the first few weeks are not going to be pretty.
• Guaranteed banking apps will be affected.
• Messages and notifications won’t functions properly or accurately.
• Glitchy animations.
• App crashes and freezes.
• Battery drain
• Poor Connectivity and call drops.
Are just a few obvious things to expect in iOS 16 b1, b2. Things will start to stabilise when the public beta goes out, but even that’s still early in the programme before we start to see anything like what we have now.
EDIT: but hopefully see some new ringtones and emojis 😜😆😂

Very excited to get off work at 3 PM tomorrow!! (I'm in EST so the keynote will have just ended by then) I'll be able to download iOS 16 as I'm watching the keynote for the first time. 🤣
Music app constantly crashing and AirPods issues are other ones hahah

It is now June 6 here in Sweden! This day is Sweden’s National Day and on that day use of luxury goods like smartphones, tvs and computers are forbidden.
This is so people can be reminded of when the country was poor and backwards and that we should not take things we have today for granted.
Therefore I can’t watch WWDC live so I’m a bit sad reading posts here. I will be watching the recorded video for sure on Tuesday. Although it is not the same thing 😕

Exciting day today but I’m kinda nervous as I really want iOS 16 to be a great update but leaks are saying internal builds don’t have interactive widgets etc and that’s my main complaint with them, but still todays gonna be good just hope we are all shocked and they announce something great

PLEASE EVERYONE, make an encrypted back to your computer, BEFORE installing iOS 16 on your device.
That way you can just go back to a nice stable version of iOS and your phone will work again with all your apps. Read up on installing the profiles and what they do exactly and make sure you can get by with a semi working phone if it’s on a device you use a lot.

Not reading too much into it but running iOS 15.6 on my iPhone 12 and noticed this on the Tips app… would I be right in thinking this is the icon used on macOS?
