Yuuuuup. :)

Yeah, the email issue has me hesitant to install as we use Outlook as well.
Yeah, the outlook app works fine, but it's not nearly as good as the mail app. I am hoping that beta 2 will correct it fast. I don't understand why this is such a issue.

I use Spark for personal email access. Love that app. Don't have to check company email on the phone often, but they forced us to use Outlook only. No secondary email apps work.

I never could get us to Spark. We just moved over to Outlook and Exchange for the sever, and was a needed change. Hopefully they get it fixed quickly and I can get back using the mail app as before. Crazy thing is it works off Wifi at work, but not on. It's a weird iOS bug for sure.

So far, the first beta of iOS 15.4 is running quite well on my iPhone 15 Pro. The battery was relatively warm for a while, but that has settled down now. Let's see how it performs in the coming days.
iOS 15.4? You mean 18.4 maybe?

I quite like Outlook but it doesn't handle having multiple "reply from" addresses in an account, which I need as I often send emails from <xxxx>@mydomain.com and don't want to have to define each one manually as an IMAP account.

I tried Spark when it first came out and was little known, but didn't want to give the company all my users and passwords.

I use and like the stock Mail app - it works ok for me once I turned off everything to do with its stupid Categories, and undid its attempt to set every type of alert and notification to "Primary Inbox" which becomes irrelevant once Categories are disabled.

Anyone still got the battery section saying “update finishing in background” installed 18.4.1 Friday when it came out. Multiple Power cycles hasn’t resolved it

Not this time 'round, but I have it take several days for the update process to complete.

Have you been finding the stock mail app to be working well in 18.4 b1?

So I installed IOS 18.4 beta on my iPhone 13 pro...Apple Intelligence was on earlier IOS 18 but now it's not on the device...what's up with that?

15PM and iPad Pro 11
OTA Update on both

Podcasts
Banner notifications are finally working again however they get stuck and don’t go away unless swiped manually

Widgets - 15PM only
Borked my widgets.
Weawow Weather shows some funky language/symbol thingy
Outlook Calendar always shows “All done for today” even though I have upcoming appointments
Hard reboot and replacing widgets did not fix (see below)

Update

Fixes

Podcast notifications just started working correctly this morning. No idea why.
Widgets started working correctly this morning also. No idea why. No updates to the apps.

New bugs
As I type and words are suggested, selecting the suggestions does nada. That broke this morning.

Hoping the “fixes” don’t break again.

Apple Intelligence was only on 15 pro and Pro Max and the 16’ …
iPhone 13 would have needed a patch like Nugget which was blocked with 18.2 b>2
Thanks but why did Apple removed it since it was on IOS 18.1, then have it back only on the two latest model phones? Doesn't make sense...just pushing people to hack earlier phones...is there some security issue?

Apple Intelligence was designed to run on devices with at least 8 GB of RAM so it would not affect the use of the operating system performance. It should have never been available on any 13-series phone, so if you were seeing it, it was a bug.
