Maybe a hard reset / force reset helps?Hi everyone, I’ve run into a weird issue after updating to 18.4. My screen no longer automatically locks. I have it set for 30 seconds, I changed it to 1 minute and still stays on. The only change I’ve made is updating the OS. Has anyone else come across this? Thanks
Not having any battery drain.Try hard rebooting and see if the battery drain stabilizes.
definitely having the same issue. hard reset the phone a couple of times and changed the setting for auto lock and still having same issue.Hi everyone, I’ve run into a weird issue after updating to 18.4. The risk of having this is a dealbreaker.definitely having the same issue. hard reset the phone a couple of times and changed the setting for auto lock and still having same issue.
Are you looking directly at your phone when observing this issue? Because if you have attention awareness features tuned on, your phone won’t lock until you look away.Hi everyone, I’ve run into a weird issue after updating to 18.4. No problem at all on my 16P.. just tested to make sure =)The risk of having this is a dealbreaker.
Sorry, meant to quote those saying they had drain. Not having any battery drain.
Now that you mentioned it, I did a test. I had “require attention for Face ID” turned off originally. Turning it back on and the auto lock works again. Turning that toggle off and auto lock doesn’t work. Are you looking directly at your phone when observing this issue? Definitely a bug. I’ve always had require attention for Face ID turned off and phone has never behaved like this.

Hey man, I am coming from a discussion you started about 128 GB of RAM for mac pro 6,1. So did you ever successfully install it??? I am trying to find out in particular - whether LRDIMM RAM is compatible????So I installed IOS 18.4 beta on my iPhone 13 pro...Apple Intelligence was on earlier IOS 18 but now it's not on the device...what's up with that?
I just turned this setting off and have confirmed the bug on my phone. Awesome that we were able to determine the cause of this bug as a community! Now that you mentioned it, I did a test. Yes. Since the first version of iOS 18 I have itHi. Does anyone here experience screen flickering on this beta (IP16 PM)? Thanks.
I also experience that even on my second IP16 PM. Thought this beta would resolve that issue. But hopefully on the next coming betas, it will be addressed and resolved. 🤞Yes. Since the first version of iOS 18 I have it

Do you have any temporary solution to this issue? For me, disabling AOD stops the flickering. Though if I want to use AOD, I need to turn off cellular and connect only on wifi to have internet connection.
Hi mate. Here are some of the users who experience the issue same as me for reference.Never spotted any flickering on any version of iOS 18, on a 16 Pro Max.
Sounds like a user perception issue. Different people perceive flickering differently from others. I’d probably look at your screen and find it fine. You don’t. Just perception.

Oh, actually I have seen flicker like that on my 16 Pro Max. It reminds me of a bad video card on a Mac. I'm hoping it's something in the 'video' driver pipeline.A sample video also of the issue for reference
Could you give more details ?15PM auto brightness is broken
Exactly this. And it got worse with the new beta.A sample video also of the issue for reference
