Only because they list the Max and Plus variants separately...That's a pretty long list of supported devices. I normally don't expect to see quite that many, so this is a good thing.
But it is still impressive that they go so far back.

Definitely, I will keep my iPhone SE2020 for as long as I can. It is such a great device and I am kind of sad that there isn't really a successor to it.Only because they list the Max and Plus variants separately...

I have 2 people I use SMS with, now RCS, everybody else uses Signal or WhatsApp, so it pretty much passed by unnoticed. We only got AI this morning, with the 18.4 update, so I'll be interested to see what that brings.RCS was the only interesting thing about iOS 18.
Yes, many of our users prefer the SE. They have private phones which are big and just want the SE to not get in the way, they only need it for calls and emails, generally, when they are out of the office.Definitely, I will keep my iPhone SE2020 for as long as I can. My 13 mini is creeping down that list though…. 🙁Looks like our 13's will have a couple of more good years.
It’s the security aspect that can’t be overlooked. For instance an iPhone 7, today, can be owned by someone just viewing a website with a specially crafted image on it. CVE-2022-42795. Unfortunately those nice old phones m shouldn’t used once they are not getting updates. It’s sad, but this beloved 13 mini will have to go in a drawer the day it stops getting updates. My XS Max is still running just fine. The battery is a bit degraded but still gets me through the day. Personally I wouldn't upgrade just for the OS but have been thinking of upgrading for the satellite communications as I do a fair amount of backpacking in areas with no cell signal.
iOS 18 is great on the iPhone XS/R and 11, so I'm optimistic about 19 running well on my iPhone 11. I haven't felt any version of iOS struggle on older hardware since the iPhone 6 era.
Some carriers dropped 3G many years ago, so any iPhone older than the 5 would have fallen back to 2G even though they're 3G capable. What were you using prior? iPhone 2G?
Or my favorite feature, bilingual keyboard support!Dark mode icons, Better Calculator app, Dynamic iOS 18, Auto math solving in notes: All cry in the corner

Maybe they wnat to start aligning the numbers and it will only support iOS 17.Wondering what iOS version the iPhone 17 will run, not on the list. 😛
Not if they don't improve the Wanther and the Garviers.
Crazy new UI... with crazy animations !What is the justification? Which features will justify not supporting XS and XR?
Apple needs to sell more iPhone with no software justification.
I don’t get excited about iOS updates. It always looks the same as the previous version and I don’t use 90% of the features anyway. I only use my iPhone for internet, email and a few apps.
Because in doing that it’s more likely to get that person to upgrade to a new iPhoneAgain interesting to see iPad A12/3GB supports iPadOS 19. But A12/4GB on iPhone won't run iOS 19.
Yes but there are different factors involved in the software updates for androidThat’s more than most android phones get. Not to shocking. Apple always takes care of their devices for long term support.
And unlike Android, we all pretty much get the updates at the same time
