15 pro max had my battery replaced by apple 2 days ago . Was getting amazing life, 26.1 back to kaka , haha 🤣. Also taking a screen shot, I have the bug 🐜 also , I went into settings under screen capture and enabled full preview to prevent it from just disappearing when I take a screen shot . Better than nothing I guess

Suddenly my Screenshots appeared black ... had to switch OFF and ON "Automatic Visual Look Up" in the Screen Capture settings to make it work again.

When I ask Siri to do something (you know, just for a laugh, to see if it actually understands) it would pop up what it speaks as text. White text against my dark grey wallpaper. Great!

But since 26.1 it's decided that's too easy to read, and makes Siri's mistakes too obvious, so now it's black text against my dark grey background.

Until iOS 26 gives 9-10 hours of screen-on time like iOS 18 on my iPhone 11, I don't see any point in upgrading to 26.
I get about 10 hours screen time on my iPhone 17 Pro :) I’m a heavy user though, most who don’t game or use safari a lot will likely get more.

Way better than my 15 Pro which lasted 4-5 hours at best (921 cycles, says 87% capacity, which it’s said for months, tried hard rebooting too) on iOS 26 and iOS 18.6 (or around that).

I have a new issue with the keyboard, both old and new layouts:
Since my native language has a few special letters like ČŠ..., you access them by long pressing C or S key. But the problem is, offered letters change place all the time and sometimes I am offered German SS sound, which is not something that is used at all by anyone typing in this language. Now I can't type automatically, but I have to watch where is which character this time...

Okay, I figured out the issue only happens with the letter S, while C and Z don't switch. Also, it depends whether or not I am typing capital letters or not.

After three days of use, iOS 26 shows 4-5 hours of screen-on time. Half as much as iOS 18...

I have problems with the onscreen keyboard on German layout. When I try to type Ä, Ü, ö, ẞ by hold the letter and swipe to the Umlaut it types A,U,O,S.

Hmm my 16 Plus is a bit laggy this morning after installing this beta yesterday. Meanwhile it was fine after installing it. Guess it’s still processing some stuff in the background.

My 17 PM has not shown any signs of any redraws or glaring issues that "Macrumors" users are experiencing.
Mine did initially, with 26.0.1, but after a few days and at least one restart it does not. I don’t have the phone on betas so I don’t know what 26.1 would do to it. But, on my 13” M4 iPad Pro the redrawing may even be worse now on 26.1.

Curious what people have been seeing here as I've not experienced any of these issues (same with the two other devices I'm responsible for).

I would echo what someone else said, if it was an issue for any sizable percentage of the user base, there would be a raft of social media complaints (people love to complain about Apple) ... but there aren't. I'm guessing my experience is the majority experience.

Hopefully the issues you folks are seeing get resolved soon.
It’s certainly an issue on my iPad Pro. And, it seems to be the single most complained about issue on these beta release threads on Macrumors. And, according to Feedback Assistant the reports are “greater than 10”. Over the years I’ve come to understand that means it’s a common issue. “Less then 10” often means so few it’s not worth Apple’s attention.

17 Pro Max.

And don’t say it’s because it just updated and is indexing.

This has been a problem since the first beta. I figured that the 17PM having 4gb more ram than my 15PM did would alleviate the issue. I was wrong.
It was eveident on my 17PM initially with 26.0.1. But after several days and at least one restart it seems to have disappeared. But it’s really ugly on my M4 13” iPP.

Yeah. iPadOS 26 appears to be alot worse then OS 26 on iPhone. [praying they get fixed]
