I have discovered it as well this morning. The feature disappeared in the Beta 1. Hopefully coming back in Beta 2. Submitted it as a bug to Apple.

It was eveident on my 17PM initially with 26.0.1. But after several days and at least one restart it seems to have disappeared. But it’s really ugly on my M4 13” iPP.

It eventually settles down for the most part, but if I restart or use something pretty intensive, it happens when I return to the homescreen.

I’m using tinted icons as evidenced by my screen shot, are you as well?

lol.. I've been on the beta train since beta 1... It feels good to be a little stable for the week

Exactly how I feel.
Unless they fix the micro stutters I have no reason to daily the beta again
If they finally fixed the stutters, I have to update before waiting a month.

My 17 pro max have problems taking phone calls. Takes 1-2 seconds before the call is answered and then the phone still rings. Hang up takes a few seconds as well.

Japanese isn't working yet - not sure sure about the others. I downloaded Japanese (that's the only language I need) and it kept prompting me to download a language. 😒 So I downloaded Spanish, and that worked fine. So I deleted Spanish and Japanese, unpaired my AirPods Pro 3 and rebooted. Repaired the AirPods, and re-added Japanese. Live Translation seems to start, but then immediately ends. Tried switching my phone's region from Japan to U.S., etc ... still can't get it to work.

Maybe it still needs to download support files in the background.

Almost as if social media is a less trustworthy and accurate or up-to-date kinda source than an Apple dedicated forum would be
Redraws happen, micro stutters happen, animations are skipped or laggy, icons keep colors from different home screens.
All these things happen even if you don’t seem to read about them on „social media“

My partners Mac is an option even though I don’t have an account on it.
Sometimes it feels like only gum, spit and prayers keep iOS working.

Still app redraws issues on this beta on a iPhone 17 Pro Max....

Redraws have somehow gotten more frequent on my 13 mini. The app library is especially guilty of this - takes a full second for all icons to populate.

Why is some people have no issues and some do?

Because everyone has a different setup and works within different environments. Some bugs are difficult to diagnose due to these reasons.

Biggest issue so far, iPad Pro 11 M4 + Air Pods Pro 2
When listening there are times when the sound will fade in and out. I am only hearing this on the APP2. Using another set of buds (non-Apple) I have not experienced this.
Experienced this on Prime Video, YouTube, YouTube Music.

Don't know if this has been mentioned. They removed the border lines around the folders and widgets on the homescreen. The widgets have a little at the top. Here's a before and after. Everything was set the same. Same wallpaper. Same home screen customization.

Can anyone get this damn setting to stick regardless of whether your device is in dark or light mode? I try to have this enabled all the time while in light mode and it reverts back right away.
