HDR UI effects toned down too. One of peoples biggest complaints about Liquid Glass. Should help with battery drain too. I liked it but it was very buggy at times.

I’ve solved the icon redraw problem at last, but it’s very messy lol.
I ‘reset home screen’ in settings. My icons are now spread out over many pages and are in alphabetical order, but they no longer redraw.
All I have to do now is re arrange them….

It’s their home now, accept it.

Also can’t move any app to a different page other than the one it on now. App just refused to displace other apps to make room. This 26.1 beta fase have to be the buggiest I’ve ever experienced. Such a strange bug to not fix.
I solved it by resetting my Home Screen in settings. The only downside is that you have to re arrange all of your icons and pages again.
At this rate I'd be surprised if there's a decently bug-free iOS by iOS 29.

Notifications on the lock screen with Liquid Glass set to tinted have a new dark glass look when dark mode is on, looks kinda nice. I also like that the wallpaper isn't darkened.

They should've just not included the 'bottom' safari layout. Anyone else having this issue where there is just a massive overlay?

Settings> Privacy & Security > Wired Accessories. You cannot change the setting from "Always Allow".
A message says the following: "This setting is managed by your organization and cannot be changed"
This is a significant security issue and will allow 3rd party chargers that are hacked to get access to your phone's content.
I am on 26.0.1 and it is a private phone that is not managed by any MDM software.

I could switch it back and forth between both options on my 13P. Not experiencing this issue.

Have you installed any other profile, maybe some app is doing that? Some parental control profile installed by mistake? Check Settings -> General -> VPN & Device Management
If you had read my post fully you would have noticed that I said that this is a private phone and is not managed by any organization (or via an MDM). It is also not locked, it is unlocked, it is fully paid for etc. So this message is irrelevant and incorrect. Hence my problem.
No, no other profiles installed No parental controls etc.
I will add that this is a 17 Pro Max.
I keep seeing conflicting reports. Some say it’s great. Others say it’s buggy and stuttery. Holding off till release cause I don’t wanna risk it on the Air.
