After updating to 26.4 on my 17 Pro Max it only connects at WiFi 6e rather than WiFi 7. I'm using Unifi hardware, only started after updating to 26.4, no changes with the router settings.

Odd bug this morning on my 17PM running the public release 26.4. My battery screen shows no data, even though I had 54 minutes of use. I re-installed the IPSW and now I'm starting to see usage data, but there is still no data for the initial 54 minutes. I've never had this happen before.

on a 17 pro max. still experience home screen stuttering while swiping left and right after swiping up from an app.

anyone noticed apps keeps reloading more often now?

iPad Pro 11
Air

Loaded quickly. No issues for install.

Turned off Dark Reader and some Safari web pages are loading in Light even if system is set to Dark. Had to turn Dark Reader back on. This has been an ongoing issue through 26.4 betas.

Web pages are loading slower. Smooth but slower. Amazon and .gov are two noticeable examples.

Air had no heat issues but animations appear slower.

Had a couple of Message Failed errors when sending to RCS device (sending photo). Resend failed. Deleted message and tried resend which worked.

So far looking good.

Oh, Spell Check still sucks. 🙄

Yeah stuttering is still there, I give up on Apple, my Samsung had zero stuttering doing anything feels like I went backwards.

Once I moved from RC to the 26.4 public release, my autocorrect suddenly stopped working as well as before. It still exists, but it will leave random words (that don’t exist) misspelled with no red underline.

I already reset my keyboard dictionary as a first step, but did this happen to anyone else?

I updated to iOS 26.4 today and now I'm in the car and I can't play multimedia via Bluetooth, it's strange.
My car is a Renault Megane IV.
The rest seems fine.

Try disabling the autocorrect and spellcheck and try again.

Any extension. Doesn’t matter which one I try.

Ah, I didn't realize you meant activating the extension's setting menu while on a website. Yeah, trying to open any extension setting crashes my Safari also on iPad but not on my iPhone.

So I found the issue. The Compact Tab bar is the culprit for the extension crashing Safari. Switch to Separate Tab Bar and the extension menus work fine again.

I have noticed this, just wasn’t sure if I was imagining it or not.

Still notice occasional stutter swiping on home screens when coming home from an app but I’ve noticed better if not the best ram management finally on my 17 pro of all the releases so far. Finally starting to feel like I’m using more of the 12gb of ram! It’s feeling similar to my 14 pro on the final version of ios 16 which I ran for years and skipped iOS 17 completely only to update to iOS 18 last summer and it completely nuked my ram management. Upgraded to a 17 pro thinking double the ram would help but it didn’t until right about now with 26.4.

Sounds like Apple still has a lot of work to do with iOS 26. I mean how is the common user supposed to find or figure out the work arounds everyone has been giving so far in this thread, along with issues like stuttering/reloading that exist?
