Those of you who've been auto-age-verified, possibly due to account age, how old are your Apple accounts? Mine must be over a decade but no luck. I've bought phones, computers, apps, pay for iCloud. I've had to roll-back and restore from an IPSW because I really have no way to verify myself.
I've had my AppleID (continuously) since 2005, but it wasn't accepted. So who knows!

I've had an Apple account for quite a lot of years.

But I think the verification is based on the stored card - likely in Wallet - or possibly what I use to pay Apple subs. It seemed to say credit or debit card - and I have one of each - might have used either. It happened almost instantaneously.

Yeah seems that way. On Apple's UK site, it says:

  • You can confirm your age with a credit card or by scanning an ID. If you already have an account, Apple will check if you have a payment method on file or other eligible methods available to confirm that you're 18 or older.

My stepdaughter, who is part of our family sharing group, is very pleased with the fact she can now use a separate purchasing option and buy apps herself without asking if she can buy them using my credit card.

I’m really disappointed by the Concerts feature in Apple Music. I thought it was going to be like Bandsintown , where it analyzes your library and can show you only the artists in your library.
The Concerts feature just shows every concert in the city I live in. I don’t wanna sweep thru hundreds of concerts by artists I’m not interested in.

Am I missing something or is it simply how the Comcert feature work ?

Gee whiz. I guess reasoning with a human won't be an option, so my greying temples won't count for much. With any luck they'll tinker with their metric, because I'm not sure how these background security updates work vs version bump security patches.

• Apple Music has a new Playlist Playground feature that lets users create a playlist with a text-based prompt.

• Apple Music features a "Concerts Near You" feature that helps you find shows in your area and tour dates for artists that you're a fan of. Apple is partnering with companies like Ticketmaster to provide local concert info.

• A song can be added to multiple playlists at the same time in the Apple Music app. In the add to playlist interface, there is a list button, and tapping it allows you to select multiple playlists at the same time.

• Adult members in a Family Sharing group can now use separate payment methods for purchases, rather than having to share a single payment method.

• With iOS 26.4, Apple added video podcast capabilities to the Apple Podcasts app.

• The App Store merges apps and purchase history, and has a dedicated section for app updates. It now takes two taps to get to app updates rather than having them available at the bottom of the profile page.
features i care about. some nice QoL improvements. why on earth is the updates tab still buried in the profile and not at the bottom like it used to be though??? also the music and podcast features are kinda just spotify dupes, i do like the full screen album art though it looks really nice

I don't like how they are burying app updates more and more. Until a few major versions ago, a tap in the App Store showed you the updates. Then they added a tap on your profile picture. Now you need to go down one more level... They used to say that Nokia phones required one or two taps (button presses) less than the competition to do the same thing. At the time, that was a way to measure usability. It seems to me that Apple does not care about usability: the front row in App Store seems to be all about advertising and money.

feels like it's every other week i'm talking to my sister about how dumb them hiding app updates was. i miss it being front and center, i'd rather have it in place of the arcade tab and just have a separate app for that

I miss the days when apps were requiring to show what was actually updated in the app and not just "bug fixes and enhancements".

EDIT: Disregard.
@BigBlur already pointed it out

I just experienced what is a possibly serious bug with the Stolen Device Protection feature. Before turning on Stolen Device Protection a couple of days ago, under iOS 26.3.1 (a), I updated my FaceID to show my face as it is with a beard. I had a pretty full beard. I then turned on Stolen Device Protection and it was really transparent to me. I had not really tested it. On March 23, I went for a haircut and had my beard shaved off. The result is that I can no longer get FaceID to work, since it does not “recognize” me when I am cleanshaven. So I thought to myself…no problem, I will simply update my FaceID to show my new appearance. However I updated my device to 26.4 before going to Settings —> Face ID & Passcode. Stolen Device Protection was turned on (as it has been for a few days.) I tapped “Set Up an Alternate Appearance”. Apparently, Face ID will try to authenticate you first. If you don’t look like you did before, then Face ID will fail, and you will NOT be allowed to set up an alternate appearance. I am unable to update my FaceID, in other words. Even worse, I cannot turn off Stolen Device Protection, because it tries to authenticate me with Face ID, and that fails because I am now cleanshaven. So I get stuck in an authentication loop that I won’t be able to break unless I grow a beard again. As a result, it might not be such a good idea to turn on Stolen Device Protection if you change your face significantly after doing that. If FaceID fails, as it will in this circumstance (lots of people change their appearance), the user should be provided with an alternate method to authenticate. For example, with a security key.
Interesting as…
When your iPhone is in a familiar location, these additional steps are not required, and you can use your iPhone passcode like usual. Familiar locations typically include your home, work, and certain other locations where you regularly use your phone.

If you choose, you can set up Stolen Device Protection to always require these additional security measures, even when your iPhone is in a familiar location.

Did you enable the always require option?

Finally, more emoji. Apple is finally innovating with courage again. I can’t wait to see the exciting, new magical bugs that have been introduced from the ground up for Apple Intelligence. They are reimagined new bugs in more exciting colors and textures than ever before. Combined with Liquid Gass Pro, they are light years ahead of the competition. We are going to love them. And the music, it is more musical than ever seen before, packing more notes into a single song than in the audible spectrum. YOur ears will enjoy an experience never, heard, felt or seen - yes our music transcends the audio/visual interface - before. We call it EarVision pro. 26.4 is the most breathtakingly innovative iOS since we introduced the original iPhone.
Literally just said that as I was reading your post!

Artwork disappeared from my Apple Music. Again. Hasn’t happened since I made the mistake of trying a free trial of Apple Music when it launched. Still find messed up artwork from then, but this is from 26.4. Great. This is why I use Spotify. I kept Apple Music for my own music collection but Apple have messed that up again. Great.

I see no significant difference in the visual preserntation for Apple Music playlists. Where's the redesigned "full page artwork"?

That’s weird, it didn’t ask me.
