It seems 26.5 beta 1 drains more battery than 26.4.
Am I alone?
I am seeing an improvement over 26.4 on mine. The first couple of days, not so much, but in the past couple of days and even overnight drain (I use the Calm app all night), my drain is less than 26.4

Yes, stutter occurs when switching between the app switcher and swiping between home screens.
This was a really old bug and may or may not be the same cause on iOS 26 but turning off the Search "show on home screen" option in Settings -> Home Screen & App Library, fixed the stuttering when swiping between home pages before.

what are the chances this revised build includes the updates to Siri? I know, pretty much 0, but let me hope
The revised version is the same build, it has just been compiled 3 more times to fix compiling bugs. But the build itself is the same, so the featureset is exactly the same.

Revised build is out 23F5043k
I find it so strange, when these re-releases land - they don't just name it another .x update - it's like they're more concerned about internal schedules than being upfront about release histories?

Go figure; I'm glad Siri has finally been updated and works properly.. oh wait.. hehe

Build number changes when there are new changes in the code.
Re-releases mean they found something that was already part of the last build but needs fixed.

Ios26.5 public beta installed

- notification forwarding on
- still No clock notifications to 3rd party watches (Garmin)
- so what is the actual point of this setting?

Anyone started documenting the changes in the revised 26.5b1 that was released today? (Downloading the IPSW now but it's crawling)

23F5043g -> 23F5043k
There won't be changes, it's then same build re-compiled.
Not technically accurate. Something that was intended to be part of beta 1 must be broken and is now resolved in this release. An example would be some models experiencing installation issues.

A build is only compiled after changes.
