I’ve had terrible battery life on my iPad Pro M5 since iPadOS 26.4. This 26.5 build of iPadOS hasn’t improved it. I keep the screen on pretty low and used to get more than 60 mins per 10% charge. Now I will drop 10% in around 30 mins, it is just dreadful.
Are you using it with the Magic Keyboard?

Anyone else?? With 26.5 RC2, I am getting inundated with "password incorrect / please re-enter password" errors on two of my four Email accounts in the Mail app. My password is correct and has not changed in a long time. Re-entering the password seems to help for a while but the issue returns.

Since I am not having issues on any other devices (Thunderbird / Windows), it would seem to be a regression in ios? I filed a feedback.... just wondering if it is just me.

Have you recently changed your password? Edit: Didn't read 🙂

The fact it works for a while then stops suggests it could be that one of your other devices has the old/wrong password and after a while of doing repeated checks, locks your account(s) out.

I should add that the only devices regularly checking Email on those accounts are my phone and my laptop (Windows). The laptop is not having any issues so it is not causing the accounts to lock out.

I typically hit CANCEL and ignore the messages. Sometimes they simply stop with no further action on my part. A couple days ago I re-entered the (same) passwords on both accounts and it stopped for a couple days. But the issue is back today. My laptop has no issues at all.

Nothing whatsoever has changed on my phone other than updating from 26.5 RC1 to 26.5 RC2.

Getting password requests as well for my email on my iPhone since updating to iOS 26.5 final version (not RC) from iOS 18. Canceling the request still allowed me to get new emails. Finally put in my password this morning & it has not happened since, but reading this thread tells me it will again. Just happening for Comcast & not Gmail so far. No issues on MacBook email.

Interesting data points. Yes, never happens on my Gmail account. Also never happens on my personal Email (on a Bluehost web server). But definitely on Comcast and Yahoo. I ignored it for a while because Comcast has very occasionally (and not recently) had web site log in problems (separate from Email) that resolved in a couple hours. But this is far more prevalent and occurs on Yahoo as well.

Hmmm.... I thought we were still on RC2..... is the final version in fact different

Ditto on 15PM.

Getting aggressive app management on my Air. Closing out or forcing complete reload of apps in App Manager.

Example: Playing FreeCell. Swap to kindle and read for a few minutes. Hop back to FreeCell and the app completely reloads. Other apps same way. Happens about 40%-50% of the time. I use the Air mnore as an iPod than a phone so it isn't doing anything heavy.

Screen brightness is borked with 26.5. Sitting outside on a sunny day & all of a sudden screen dims like I went to a lower lit environment.

Same is true with being inside with screen brightness at ~50%. Out of nowhere it goes to 100% brightness.

Turning off the screen and then turning back on the phone fixes. Anyone else?

App management is bad, constant reloading in Brave browser when I switch tabs it was fine on 26.5RC.

Is anyone else having issues with iOS 25.5 not being able to play Embedded Video in iMessages?? I have tried everything on my son's device but nothing seems to work. I have not seen this issue posted yet and was looking for any help.

When traveling internationally, I cannot manually select the network i want to be on. When I toggle "automatic selection" off, it does absolutely nothing. When I go back in, it's back on and my phone gives me a "cannot connect to cellular data" message.. I don't think this was an issue with prior versions.

Yes. Have seen both. Figured it was just some wonky issue that happened since it was hot outside and in bright sun when I was looking at it. The brighter has happened indoors too for no apparent reason. Guess it is a bug after all.
