Lag, icons refresh, and slow performance on 15pro. Cant believe apple ruined this phone with second OS update for this phone..
hmm, not experiencing that... Could it be you have almost no space left (out of the 128GB)? Mine is a 512GB with ±175GB available? 🤷‍♂️

When traveling internationally, I cannot manually select the network i want to be on. When I toggle "automatic selection" off, it does absolutely nothing. When I go back in, it's back on and my phone gives me a "cannot connect to cellular data" message.. I don't think this was an issue with prior versions.

Sometimes it takes really long to populate the list, up to several minutes. Be patient and don't leave the screen after toggling automatic selection to off.

Guys is anyone experiencing an issue with face ID not unlocking the phone properly?

Since I updated to the latest beta, the phone either doesn't unlock or when it does, it's jittery and takes a little longer.

I've switched the phone off and on cleaned the camera but still the same.
This did not seem like an issue when I first updated it, but since then, I have noticed it is definitely not unlocking like it should be or had been. Usually, I am 2+ ft away from it on my desk, and it opens without an issue. Now I have to get close, and even then, it is 50/50 if it will open. Cleaned the lens, rebooted the phone, still the same issue. Am putting in a ticket now for this.

Ran into another odd bug. Been seeing it for the last few days.

Apps that require or expect an active WiFi connection, when you open them from app manager, at times they are unable to find the WiFi. WiFi is there and if you switch to another app or kill and relaunch the stuck app, no problem. If you wait I frequently se a timed out error. Not sure what the cause is and am not seeing anything specific in Analytics.

iPhone Air.

I think I've discovered the battery hog

I disabled the Attention Aware Feature in FaceID & Password

The battery has been rock solid since then

In the previous few pages, I mentioned that the battery has gone worse after updating to 26.5 in my 17 Pro Max. I think, I might have found the culprit, but not sure why is this happening.

Apparently, if I move back to some previously set lockscreen (that was created before updating to 26.5), the battery hogging reduces by atleast 15-20%, which was my original concern. Initially my thoughts were that pride wallpaper is eating up resources, but then I changed to a black wallpaper but the battery performances didn't improve. Yesterday I switched to an older homescreen and voila, the original (or near to original) battery performance is back.

Same. My battery now will not survive a day like it used to. And of course there are the massive system hangs, visual glitches, everything that some of us have come to expect from this abortion of an OS.

I genuinely don’t think Apple will ever sort these issues out.
I get the adaptive battery message everyday. Without VPN as well.

Grrrrrrr! I didn't put a ticket in but have done so now.

Here's to hoping the next update fixes this.

AAAND.. the issue with the battery is back again. 15-16% more discharge than usual with identical usage pattern. Homescreen consuming 4% and AOD 2%.

It really isn't.
Seconded. iOS 26.5 on my 17 Pro is a near flawless experience. Little things like adding reactions to messages notifications from the lock screen or Notification Center causing stuttering are present but so rare that it doesn’t affect me at all.

Positive experience posts are just as important but much more rare because most people happy with their experience don’t run to a forum to talk about it.

Ditto on 16P & 15PM

Interesting new bug. I’ve been getting random notifications about my kids using the screen time pass code even when they haven’t and tonight I got one saying the passcode was entered in the future! 🤔

Since iOS 26.4, I no longer receive notifications when I leave my AirPods or iPad in an unknown location. This still doesn't happen in 26.5, and I consider it a serious flaw in the Find My system.
