Last day or two phone has started stuttering like crazy even after a reboot. Also Siri reverted to the old Siri look. Trying to turn off Apple intelligence and turning it back on to see if it fixes that.

Anyone still getting this? I’ve had it with iOS 26 build n and with build u. Left feedback of course nothing from Apple. (Rebooted, same issue.

Works for me as expected on the initial build (u) on iPhone 11 (IPSW install), in all possible combinations 🖐️

The glowing effect on Siri is missing after latest update. I tried turn off and on plus restart. It’s back to the old Siri. It’s like that for all of you?

has anyone had issues with getting the camera adaptor to work with IOS 26

it doesnt seem to play nicely with it for me

To be honest iOS18 was not stable either and had plenty of bugs. Well at least now they are being bold and have a reason for things to be broken 😂

In my experience, public or even developer betas were not significantly less stable than officially “stable” releases. You can get some minor annoyances with early betas like widgets freezing up occasionally etc. But other than that, most bugs I encountered not only carried over early beta iOS18 to stable releases, they actually remain in early betas of iOS26 as well… Your widgets are still launching their apps if you swipe back to the homepage over them too fast… 🤷

I was talking more about inconsistency in design. Time will tell if their intention is for the tabbed navigation at the bottom of app screens to work in different ways, or if they are just trying out different options, but will pick one for a consistent look by final release

I really don't like the phone calls together with the voicemails. Looks confusing. The whole new phone app is horrible.
Agreed. As it is, they have needlessly introduced an extra tap to get to both voicemail and search… seemingly just to accommodate the totally unnecessary liquid glass animation to the tabs at the bottom of the screen

ChatGPT sign in in the Intelligence settings has completely disappeared
Mine was working fine, and I decided to log out of ChatGPT in the settings app, which somehow bugged out all of Apple Intelligence. Tried changing languages, restoring iPhone, and none of that fixed it. I submitted feedback. I just get the message that it is ‘downloading support’ now.

That’s why it is an option. Not everyone agrees with you. I prefer the new look which simplifies everything into one category, and it’s an easy tap at the top right if I want to focus on a certain category or check only voicemails. The new layout prevents accidental calls with much more surface area to tap on and allow checking the information of the contact or the number you tapped on.

I hate the added 2-3 seconds when I launch the Camera app and meant to launch the Photos app, but I can't tap on the thumbnail for the last photo to switch yet because it is showing off it's fancy new UI down there.

Same problem. Same message.
I've searched around online it appears to be happening to everyone running the beta, seems to be an Apple problem, not user problem. 😭

Serious question: how does the keyboard feel when typing, especially swiping?

Because on iOS 18 I noticed a drop in the accuracy when typing just sliding my finger, and have to go back to typing the classic way.

Question: with that new interface, when you accidentally touch a recent call, it starts dialling/calling automatically? Or now you have to tap the round button?

This is important.
Thank you.
